We are always looking for new places to go and decided to try Buca di Beppo recently. The interior is eclectic and fun, the staff was happy and helpful, there was a wide variety of items to choose from on the menu and the portions were large. However, the food itself was not so great. We started with salads and bread, and that was okay - nothing outstanding, but not bad. For our main course we had the Quattro al Forno, which was a ""sampler"" of their baked pasta dishes and none of them were very good. The noodles were overcooked, the sauces were mediocre and in a couple dishes we were confused about what kind of meat we were eating.
Pros: Different & fun atmosphere, large variety on the menu, "family-style" courses
Cons: Can be loud & hectic inside, food is bad
