Not cooked enough.... 2/19/2008

I tried Brother's pizza for the first time a few weeks ago. I just moved to Belmont and thought that the Cushing Sq location and nice store front of Brother's pizza meant that they probably had good food. I can't speak for anything other than pizza and mozzerella sticks, but neither of those things were good at Brother's. The pizza wasn't cooked enough, had too much cheese and barely any sauce. The mozzerella sticks were soft and the breading basically crumbled off as if they had never been cooked. It just wasn't any good and a waste of money. more

They Don't Seem to Want my Business 4/25/2006

We called to order take out and went to pick it up (as told) 20 minutes later. They guy got surly when it wasn't ready and we asked about how much longer it would be. He went as far to tell us if we didn't like waiting, we should just go elsewhere. No problem, buddy. Pizza was greasy anyway. Cons: bad attitude, had to wait, greasy more

I'd starve before going here again 4/18/2006

We tried to pick up our order after 30 minutes (as instructed by the Brothers). We asked for our two pizzas (plain cheese, one sausage and mushroom) guy said it was a ""Big order; wait."" We asked him to clarify, (2 pizzas?). He went nutty, yelling and cursing that time estimates are only estimates and be patient because he has other customers waiting (no one else there). We were just short of walking out but didn't - our pizza was almost ready. Looking back, we should have left then. The pizzas were sopping with grease and the toppings were scant and only on a random corner. We'll NEVER order from these guys again. not quite sure how a place with a couple of negative reviews already can still get an 8.5 rating... Cons: rude, bad pizza, had to wait more

Used to be good when it was just a pizza place 8/18/2005

Since Brother's has expanded to offer all sorts of other non-pizza/ grill items on the menu, the quality of everything has suffered. The once good pizza is now mediocre at best, the once basic pizza joint atmosphere is trying to hard to be something it's not and the prices have increased to pay for it all. Who really wants to get sushi from the same guy in the greasy apron who is making pizza? Or pay and extra $4 a pie for the priviledge? Focus guys. You're not yuppies; yuppies want decent pizza at a decent price from the pizza guy. They go to specialty places for everything else. Bad experience turned good 4/7/2004

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE: 3 years ago I ordered on Sunday night and the guy on the phone was rude. Everytime I mentioned an item he said it wasn't available cause grill was closed. Even though it wasn't listed as a ""grill"" item. I asked him when they close the grill; he yelled, ""DOES IT MATTER?!"" I told him, ""Yes, for future referrence."" He said 9PM. Odd thing was it was 8:30PM. Finally decided on something and when I received it there was peppers on it with mayo (I specifically said to hold the items). I threw it away after a few bites. I made my return there on March 27th 2004. Everything seems okay now. The ladies at the counter were nice and friendly. Hopefully that bad incident wont be repeated.
