This is my wife's favorite place. Been to some fancy, high-falutin' sushi places like Nobu New York, that sushi nazi guy in LA, etc., but they don't compare to Brother Sushi-- seriously.
and you don't need to be (or pretend to be) a sushi connoisseur. They will serve you what you want, the way you like it. if you don't know, just ask the chef, and he'll whip you up something delicious. you can get authentic sushi if you are a purist, you can get natto and ankimo if you feel adventurous, or get funky Americanized roll if that's your thing. unpretentious, fun, and simply delicious!
Pros: great service, great people, awesome food
Cons: waiting for your spot at the sushi bar
