Brooks looks like many other steak houses dark wood paneling, subdued lighting, white tablecloths, booths, etc. which leads you to expect a great steak. This is where your vision and expectations break down. Although there are many steak selections on the menu, there are only 3 that are prime. The rib eye, porterhouse, and a NY strip. No prime filet?! In addition, they were a little on the small and thin side. Not what you come to expect from a great steakhouse. It is not so much that you want a lot of steak as it is that you want one big enough and thick enough to get cooked correctly. The appetizers and salads were very good. Can you believe the onion rings were the frozen variety! The service was just right. The wine list was a little pricey but well populated with very good wines.
Pros: Appetizers, Service, Wine list
Cons: Steaks, Noise level
