I'm sorry, but if the editors had a good meal at Brooks it was because they knew who you were and they tried harder. I have tried Brooks 4 times and all 4 times were a bust. Bad service, rude treatment twice, cold food twice. Worst was the wine steward bringing a differant vintage other than I ordered and starting to open without showing me. When I insisted he fessed up to the bottle being a differant (more recent) vintage, very unprofessional.
