Russell was prompt, friendly, professional, and best of all...really f'n fast. And when I say ""fast"", I really mean that he was quite literally running around the garage. I met Russell at my house during my lunch break, and what would have been a 4 hour DIY job (via Youtube estimate), took him only 30 minutes. Apparently, Torsion Spring breakage is fairly common, because he was well equipped with the exact replacement parts with only 1 day's notice. I really appreciated his upfront pricing, which ended up being about 30% less than what I was expecting (based upon some superficial internet research). One other plus was the lack of upselling me on any other equipment (safety sensors, rollers, etc.), and in fact he was very complimentary of everything in place, which gave me a little peace of mind. The service included lubrication of the rollers & screw drive, and now the door barely makes a sound. The last impressive item for me was that the door needed no tension adjustment after installation...in other words, he installed it correctly the first time. Very little clean up involved, and he left the area in the exact same condition as when he arrived. This is a family business and it shows in their quality of work and how they treat their customers! I received an estimate over the phone and scheduled an appointment to repair my garage door. The service tech showed up promptly at the scheduled time. He did a great job fixing my garage door and actually did more work than I anticipated was needed when I asked for the estimate. So I was really pleasantly surprised that the bill was exactly what I had been quoted. more

I used this company back in the late 90's and thought they did good work so when I need my garage door springs fixed again I called them. I called early in the day and secured an appointment between 11AM and 2PM. I thought I was all set. About an hour later they called back and said that my appointment was cancelled and that they did not work in the I-10 West/Katy area. I was surprised. No further explination was offered, I even called back and tried to talk to the workman to get a more specific reason. No Luck! They really left me in the lurch, I had no way to open my broken garage door and this stopped important work that was being done at my home. Also by the time they called me back several other companies I tried were booked for the day. Be careful if you consider this company. Poor customer relations!
