First off, I used to work front desk at an animal hospital in California. No matter how obnoxious other people can be, I always had a smile, a sympathetic ear, and a professional friendly manner. We all have our bad days, but the people I served were the people who paid my salary, and I treated them as good as I could. \r

I have been going to Broadway Vet for about 4 years and I love the Doctors, the facility is top-notch, and the behind-the-scenes staff are great. But every time I go, there's an older lady working the front desk and she has got to be the biggest curmudgeon I've ever encountered in a people-oriented job. I've only gone in when I have a problem with one of my beloved cats - I'm already distressed about my sick pet when I walk in the door. And this awful woman is rude, grouchy and gruff every time.
