UNPARALLELED CARE AND SERVICE 6/9/2011

this is the MOST OUTSTANDING animal care I have ever enjoyed for my pets. the staff is professional, knowledgable, and enthusiastic. upon entering the reception area, both my pets and I were greeted by name, and immediately brought into the exam room - NO WAIT!!! the dr. went to work immediately, and diagnosed my pet with kidney disease after a minimal amount of time and tests. and it was correct!\r i have gone to vca and other clinics for the last 15 years, and will NEVER go back to them. In addition to their referring me out to specialists, at additional time and travel, I incurred over $10,000 in bills for cancer for my pet. \r BRAC is a tremendous value, but the real draw is the people who make up the culture of the practice. \r the doctors have over 140 years (!!!!!) combined experience in vet medicine, in addition to specialty phds and ivy league diplomas. they are truly the top of their profession. \r In addition, they educated me about pet insurance, and how it would have helped m more

Dr. Murphy and BRAC staff are awesome! 2/5/2011

Dr. Murphy has been taking care of my cats at BRAC for more than 12 years. She is a wonderful, knowledgeable vet with a heart of gold. If you are looking for a great veterinarian who will listen to you and truly cares, then BRAC is the place for you. Not only is she great, but her staff is the friendliest group of pet lovers I've ever met. more

Mr. 1/5/2011

BRAC has many young, inexperienced vets. They also have a second location, focusing on alternative therapies, yet their vets know little about such therapies. But they are happy to take your money while your pet dies. There's nothing worse than paying thousands of dollars to watch your pet die.\r \r If you have a pet with a dire diagnosis, it's best to do your own research and locate a vet with expertise - even if it means traveling out of state. more

The best care EVER for your animals. 3/4/2007

I rescued a greyhound in 7/2005. In 5/2006 he started limping in his right front leg. I took him to his regular vet that assured me that they knew about greyhound care since it is very different than other dogs because of their lack of body fat and so on. She assured me that it was an old racing injury and I should not be concerned. The lameness continued to worsen and I called my bosses wife that works at BRAC. She told me to bring him in that same day. Within 20 minutes and two xrays later we knew the sad truth. The lameness was bone cancer. A disease that strikes more than 30% of racing greyhounds. I had to put him down right away. They took care of me and my Chase! They were so good to him and to me. I will never forget how they helped comfort me in my decision and explained in detail other options. Unfortunately, it was caught too late in my opinion to have given him a half way decent chance at a few more months. I won't make another mistake like that again. I will n more

A Happy Cat 7/11/2006

The folks here are very friendly. They got me in the first day I called. The lobby is lots of fun with coffee and water for the humans, and free leashes for the dogs. The vet and assistant took the time to talk to me about caring for my cat, sent me away with a free kitten kit. I liked that they discussed finances up front. They were a little pricey, but it wasn't over the top. more

Excellent Pet hospital 5/1/2006

Super friendly staff. Although I don't own a pet, I have had to take my brother's dog here twice. They were so nice and very reasonably priced. The facilities are super clean and everyone on staff is well-presented. I've only taken his dog one other place and I didn't like it as well. It was dirtier and the grooming charges were actually higher. The seizure medication his dog is on at this hospital is also pretty reasonable. They also have on-call hours and did an emergency surgery on a Sunday. I am quite impressed he was only a little additional for that service as well. more
