Old fashion ""bait and switch"" scam at Bright Now Dental of Crystal River Florida. I received a flyer advertising new patient Cleaning, Check up and X-rays for $29.00 . Should have known better. I was at my regular dentist up North, for a cleaning and exam 6 months ago so I brought my own x-rays. I did receive somewhat of an exam at Bright Now where the dentist told me ""no cavities and things looked good. After a while waiting the assistant tells me it will be in excess of $200.00 to clean my eight teeth because I have something wrong with my gums. Well I know that is Bullshit and a rip off. When I paid the $29.00 and complained, the receptionist was rude and laughed when I told her I just got ripped off . No one there did anything but look in my mouth for the money. My advice is to stay away from these crooks and read the reviews about this company all across the US. Scam artistry at it's best ! more

My dental office since 2011. The dentist I had Julianne Moore was good.The hygentist Was terrible. she was very heavy handed, I tried to tell her each cleaning and she would get mad and raise her voice. Finally, I spoke to her office manager and explained. went to give her one more try on Nov 26th, she was nasty barely cleaned my teeth.appointment was @9am, for perio cleaning. She pushed me out at 9:25am. what a waste of money. called my insurance and immediately went to another Dental firm Coast dental in crystal river florida. Donot want some child to experience any of this,\r I am 56yrs old and have been in the profession, and she clearly should not be dealing with the pubic with anger issues. more

I haven't been to the dentist in serval years. I was very pleased with the Doctor and the knowledgeable staff. At my first evualation they took x-rays and did a gum screening, and told me what treatment that I need dental wise. At that time I had no idea I had a gum infection. The hygienest explained to me what could happen if I did not get the infection under control. They got me in asap for a cleaning of my teeth, they have never felt so clean! They also got me appointments in the future for dental treatment that I needed. I highly recommend them to my family, friends and co-workers. GREAT OFFICE! more

RIP OFF FOR SURE. WHEN THEY TELL YOU YOU HAVE DEEP POCKETS,IT'S THEIR POCKETS THEY'RE TALKING ABOUT.THE DENTIST TOLD ME I NEEDED A DEEP CLEANING BECAUSE OF DEEP POCKETS. I ASKED,HOW MANY TEETH,,,OH,,THREE OR FOUR. I FOOLISHLY WENT AHEAD WITH THE CLEANING. NO TEETH WERE CLEANED DIFFERENTLY THAN ANY OTHERS. THE ENTIRE CLEANING TOOK 23 MINUTES,AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME $500. FOR THIS SO CALLED,DEEP CLEANING. WHEN I GOT TO THE DESK AND PAID THIS OUTRAGOUS BILL,I STATED,,,,THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF,$500 FOR A BASIC CLEANING. THE GIRL,OUT OF THIN AIR SAID,,,OH HERE IS A $100. COUPON FOR ANY WORK DONE OVER $250. WHERE WAS THIS COUPON BEFORE I PAID THE BILL AND COMPLAINED. SHE OBVIOUSLY KNEW I WAS RIPPED OFF. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND FIND AN HONEST DENTIST,(WHICH ARE EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND) BUT THERE IS ONE IN CRYSTAL RIVER,JUST KEEP LOOKING. more

Karen is the best hygienist I have ever had. Very gentle yet effective. I recommend this office to all friends & family, even those that go to a different Bright Now office. I am a Very Satisfied Customer!! more

I just want to say I have been to many dentist offices through the years and was so dissatisfied with the staff and the price of the dental that I never went back. For years I tired different dentist since we moved to Florida. It wasn't until I found Bright Now Dental that I was comfortable with the whole concept. The staff were all so pleasant that I feel like I am at home when I walk through their doors. The financing was so helpful. I am thankful for all of them without them I would have never been able to afford to have nice teeth. I thank you all. more

Being new to the area, my family and I were in search of a new dentist. Because it took nearly 6 months to get an appointment, I figured this was the place to go. We have always gone to the dentist and have great oral care. So I was surprised when told both my husband and I needed an expensive procedure to treat periodontal disease. The woman who diagnosed this poked my gums so hard it felt as if she was going to go through the roof of my mouth, she was not gentle at all and didn't even speak to me. When the dentist came back I expressed my concerns and asked what percentage of her patients have to get this sort of cleaning. She said 80%! Right then, I knew I had to get another opinion. I went to a dentist in Ocala, but it was worth the drive. They told us our teeth were in great condition and if we kept up our daily flossing we should never have to get the expensive deep cleaning BND was telling us we so desperately needed. If they try to see this to you, get a second opinion. If you have ins. they charge it to the max and then you still owe, for nothing more than having someone poke in your mouth. The place was really dirty too. more
