Review content:
Being new to the area, my family and I were in search of a new dentist. Because it took nearly 6 months to get an appointment, I figured this was the place to go. We have always gone to the dentist and have great oral care. So I was surprised when told both my husband and I needed an expensive procedure to treat periodontal disease. The woman who diagnosed this poked my gums so hard it felt as if she was going to go through the roof of my mouth, she was not gentle at all and didn't even speak to me. When the dentist came back I expressed my concerns and asked what percentage of her patients have to get this sort of cleaning. She said 80%! Right then, I knew I had to get another opinion. I went to a dentist in Ocala, but it was worth the drive. They told us our teeth were in great condition and if we kept up our daily flossing we should never have to get the expensive deep cleaning BND was telling us we so desperately needed. If they try to see this to you, get a second opinion. If you have ins. they charge it to the max and then you still owe, for nothing more than having someone poke in your mouth. The place was really dirty too.
