Wonderful experience! Doctor is exceptional. I had not been to the dentist in several years. But, Doctor did an incredible job. I am very happy with him and his staff. I felt very comfortable throughout the entire process of three visits. I will continue to go to him and suggest that others use him as their dentist as well. more

Improvements Have Been Made 12/14/2010

Please allow me to bring you up to speed. There is a new managing dentist, Dr Naguib. Wait times have been reduced, a hygienist has been added, and the staff is much more pleasant. Keep in mind this is a corporate branch, and the pressure from above is tremendous to increase production. Dr Naguib will do good work. He recommends the treatment of best quality. If you want less, ask for options A, B, C. He's very likable and works quickly. Ask specifically for the hygienist to do your ""deep cleaning"" if you need one. Her records are more complete for comparison in subsequent visits and patient education is more extensive. The new manager is doing a good job, too. They're not perfect, but they've come a long way. more

Go somewhere else 7/19/2010

Why do they require a deep cleaning for all new patients? Three of my family members went there after switching to them because they are closer than our previous dentist. ALL three of us ""needed"" a deep cleaning at about $400-500 AFTER our insurance. What the... They wanted to extract three teeth from my son, one which was already loose. All three came out on their own within two months. Then they automatically filled a filling on him with the ""expensive"" stuff rather than the regular stuff without giving us a choice. They ""repaired"" an old fllling of mine but 4 months later their ""repair"" wore away. We are not going back. Pros: Clean offices Cons: Long waits, multiple visits needed, unnecessary work? more

DON'T GO!!! 10/29/2009

I went there for a check up and I needed a couple of crowns. Of course they require you to do a deep cleaning and I needed a couple of crowns. I went back 3 times just to get my crowns delivered. They kept making me appointments to get them and then after I sit for over an hour in the waiting room, they inform me that my crowns have not shown up, that they were delivered to some other offce. Wouldn't you think that they would know this before they schedule an appoinment. They are so stupid that the front office and the dental staff don't have a clue as to what is going on. Finally they call with my crowns in hand and do you think that they would push to get me in as it was their screw up in the first place. I will NEVER go back!! more

DONT GO HERE IF YOU WANT YOUR TEETH 6/16/2009

I went to Palmdale Dental in 2005, had three cavities filled. A year later I was still in pain. In 2006 I went back and found out that all three fillings needed to be replaced. They did with no charge, and put bonding on a front tooth, and did Zoom whitening. I still had bad pain, I went back a couple of days later told the dentist that the bonding wasn't right. He said 'you will just have to get use to it.' A few days later the bonding fell out. The girl doing the whitening burned my mouth with the solution she was using, and then I never got the take home kit. It felt as though my teeth were going to crumble and fall out. So I went to another dentist. Turns out I had a cavity from 2005 still there! They filled the wrong tooth!!! And I had gum disease!! and the bonding wasn't even needed. Still to this day June 16th 2009 I have not received the whitening kit. My daughter got braces, sealant, crowns, and some sort of surgery on her gums. All unneeded or bad. Why did they not notice at some point that the sealant they had put in her mouth were cracking and oozing! Our new dentist told us how she had a terrible over bite. While the Palmdale Dental Ortho was taking off her braces and telling her to throw away her retainer!!!! There is a long paper trail, but Palmdale Dental still has not given my money back for anything!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have x-rays and other documents to prove all this true. I filed a complaint With the California Dental Board, But Palmdale Dental , Aka, Care Credit, Aka, GE money bank still call for money everyday. Dont make the mistake we did. Go somewhere else RUN FAST!!!!! Cons: LACK OF CARE, DENTIST DONT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING more

I WOULD NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! TERRIBLE! 2/16/2009

Went there as a new patient because I had a fractured crown. This dentist, Dr. Ibraheem, came in, did not look at my tooth once and insisted that the tooth had to be extracted. She refused to do anything until I could get a second opinion, which would be the following week. She wouldn't remove the crown, the posts-- she wouldn't do anything to relieve the pain. I ended up walking out and going to a competent dentist in Lancaster a few hours later who took the crown off and fixed the tooth. It seems Palmdale Dental has forgotten that they're a service business and instead just wants to soak patients for money. Pros: Location Cons: Dentists, lack of care, long wait more

Avoid Palmdale dental 9/9/2008

I went there for a chipped wisdom tooth that needed to be removed... and presented a $2400 BILL BEFORE TREATMENT!!!! I was there for a total of 3 hours and saw the dentist for 15 minutes and presented a bill for $2400 with a INSURANCE co pay of $700 for a supposed deep cleaning treatment when I had a chipped tooth. This did not include removing my chipped wisdom tooth which was the reason for my dental visit. They needed to give me a referral to an oral surgeon and the co pay for tooth removal is only a $169. I reviewed the bill with a managing Dentist and there were optional charges...and treatments..in the bill...Out of the total bill only $240 in deep cleaning Co pays were really needed. The other $400 plus in charges were Optional. When I opted to only do the $240 deep cleaning they sent a manager in to see me and said that they ran out of time for the day and could not do the treatment. I was there for 3 hours and 15 minutes From 3 to 6pm. and spent most of my time just waiting to be seen. After the first hour waiting getting x rays another hour waiting for the dentist exam another 30 minutes then presented with a bill. A half hour asking questions about the charges to be turned away. Poor customer service!!!! Unorganized and unprofessional Staff!!! Dentists who can barely speak English and do not explain the treatments. Optional vs Necessary treatments... This is a Dental business that is thriving on uneducated customers Pros: Nothing good about this place. Cons: 3 hour wait Unprofessional staff Asian Dentists are all ESL and did not communicate clearly and were difficult to understand more
