The past review is spot on for how horrible this store is! YES, I have the correct store. I also think the reviews left about how great this store is and how the other negative reviews are wrong, must have been written by the owner. RUDE staff. Wouldn't even show me a dress because it was $10.00 over my stated budget. Are you kidding me? Couldn't properly get me into the dresses, yanking them over my head and spinning me around even before I had my head through! HORRIBLE dresses. (some I think may actually be USED! Are you buying your dresses fom craigslist?!) They were poorly made, mismatched beading, bad stiching, faded looking, and one my guest and I agreed looked stained! If you hate your job, get out of the business. I am SOOOO glad this was not my first time trying on bridal gowns, because if it had been I would have run home in tears completely discouraged. SAVE your time, your pride and your money and go somewhere else. more

Though I'm not normally one to judge, it seems as though the extreme reviewer above must have some sort of personal agenda behind her words. While every bride's experience must be unique, I cannot imagine the indivuals at Bride's Fantasy as being anything but respectful, helpful and curteous. \r \r I recently made an appointment at this little shop with (to be honest) the intent of just browsing- I had an appointment several days later at Kleinfelds to look at dresses, and intended on making my purchase there. However, the consultant who worked with me at Bride's fantasy worked hard and found a gown that was entirely perfect for me. I made a purchase that day. :)\r \r Again, I must be honest... I'm picky when it comes to customer service. I was so pleased with the quality and care given to make sure I was not only completely satisfied with my gown, but also to make sure I had a complete knowledge of any and everything one may want to know about the process. My consultant was enthusiastic, and made an effort to truly get to know me and understand what I wanted to look like on my big day. She was completely respectful- never did I once feel judged or criticized. I was completely comfortable and happy throughout the entire appointment.\r \r I left this salon feeling as though I had found not only the perfect dress, but also someone who would be there every step of the way throughout my wedding preparation process. The service one finds at Bride's Fantasy is the rare high-quality personal service that will ease a bride's mind and not only make her job easier, but make the process fun and memorable. more

I am sure that this is the correct Bridal shop, I had a horrible time here... This place is so horrific I almost want to give it a half a star...at least the people show up to work. That's all I can say for them. Ok, so from my very first visit, everyone here was fake and had an attitude. Every dress I tried on they would say looked amazing!!!!!! Just be honest, it's not helpful to tell me they all look good. I was a bride's maid, not the bride, but it was still annoying. They gave such a freaked out look when we told them that we were all wearing different colors and styles of dresses. Judgement was written all over there faces. This is not that bad you might be thinking, but here's where the fun begins... At my first fitting I looked at the dress and thought, ""wow, that looks huge."" I am a typical size 6...in almost everything. Granted, I have a large chest, so sometimes a bigger size is necessary...they had ordered me a size 12! It was ridiculously huge on me. They ordered a size 14 for one of the other bride's maids and she is typically a size 8. They then asked me what bra I planned on wearing and I told them that I was thinking about not wearing one if it looked ok...they rolled their eyes and told me that I should definitely rethink wearing a bra and proceeded to write on my order slip ""refuses to wear a bra"". They told me that the dress wouldn't be fitted properly because I refused to wear a bra and I said, I WILL wear a bra if it looks better! They were really just trying to blame me because the dress was not fitting correctly (BECAUSE THEY ORDERED A SIZE 12!) That was not the worst of it, because I could care less if someone judges me for not wearing a bra, but then they were rude to the bride. At her first fitting the dress was too small. They had measured her exactly last time she was in and she was working out in the meantime, so she had not gained weight. They had an attitude and said to her ""Oh, you were SUPPOSED to have lost weight""!!!! What a rude comment to make! They had quite the attitude with her and ordered her a new size after telling her she should have lost weight. There were so many awful experiences, I feel like I'm forgetting a few of them. The day before the wedding, one bride's maid was supposed to pick up her dress. She had a screaming baby at home and was running late. When she called the dress shop (crying, mind you), they told her ""Well, if you don't get here before we close, I guess you just won't have a dress tomorrow"" That's lovely customer service. The women at this place need to retire. They are all miserable and make everyone around them miserable. Please, do yourself a favor and DO NOT go here! I think that this person complaining of rude service must have been at the store on the other side of Route 9. I have had many run-ins with ALL of the staff at that store (which I won't name.) They are definitely rude and snobby. But at Bride's Fantasy, everyone is extremely friendly, courteous, and fun to work with. They do not impose their opinions on any of their customers and do a beautiful job giving the bride and all members of the bridal party exactly what they want, and then some. Their sales staff is extremely helpful and their tailors are the best I have ever seen. I have used this store many, many times, and have sent many, many friends and colleagues to them. Everyone has had nothing but great things to say about them and continue to return to them for their bridal needs, even as guests of other weddings. \r \r Please check to make sure that you were not at the ""other"" shop. If there wasn't a fountain in front of the shop, you're talking about the wrong place. Please don't ruin the reputation of a wonderful store with wonderful people in a fit of rage. I used to work for the owner of Brides Fantasy for years and she would never do such a thing. I understand that mis understandings occur but to slander her based on a bias opinon is wrong, lets face it your her mother and of coarse you would over look a possible touchy sistuation as to the fit of a dress. Alterations take alot of time and money and I am sure the comment was on that and not have to do alterations over and over again. Maybe you should be more patient before blasting someone to the public. \r more

The owner of the shop had my daughter in tears. My daughter is a little overwieght and very happy with herself. The older owner of the shop kept saying comments about her weight and told her not to eat til the dress came in or we would have to pay extra if it did not fit. My always happy daughter left with tears in her eyes I would never go back there. SNOBBY STAFF> Pros: local Cons: not worth the rudeness more
