I ordered a bridesmaids dress from there awhile ago and the transaction was fine and the person that helped me order it was wonderful. When I came to pick it up they only have one dressing room. It had tons of dresses in there and there wasn't a door, only a curtain for privacy. I tried it on, showed them and we decided I didn't need any alterations. So I went back into the dressing room to change. A bride came in to try on her dress while I was in there and they opened the curtain and kicked me out, I wasn't even fully dressed yet! I was so embarased. I wasn't in there long, I don't take an abnormally long time to get dressed. I certainly didn't go back there to order my wedding dress when I got married. more

I am a new member to citysearch, just so I can write about my experience at Bride-n-Belle in Medford. I visited a few bridal shops prior to my visit to Bride n Belle, and I wasn't having any luck. Whether it was pricing, personality, or even selection, I was not happy until I met with Teresa. I had explained to her, I had a HUGE wedding party that consisted of 2 maid of honor's, 9 bridesmaids, and a flower girl. If you are a bride, you know, that it's not easy and Teresa displayed such personal dedication to me and all my girls! I am getting married in 34 days in counting, and everything at Bride n Belle is done and waiting for pick up. It's truly a great feeling to know, that I was able to have an unbelievable ""bridal experience"" and Bride-n-Belle made that happen for me. =) I even purchased an after reception dress because I just couldn't resist and the prices are right! it must be tough to be in the bridal business, but the people at bride and belle in medford do a great job. Now that my wedding is over and all the stress is gone I can look back and see who did a good job and who didn't. Bride and Belle did a tremendous job. I purchased my wedding gown there and I could not have been more happy. more

Bride n Belle is the best. I just recently had my wedding and out of all the services (dj, florist, etc..) bride and belle were the only ones who got everything right. They made me and my girls look so beautiful. The workers there were so sweet and did not pressure us. My girlfriend got her gown for her wedding at a different shop and it was a nightmare. Her mother got her gown at bride and belle and she was so happy with them, that I had to try them out. Thank God I did. The owner's name is Theresa and let me tell you girls, this woman is a doll. I have to say that I am a picky person, but when it came to this shop medford, I left as happy as possible. Nothing bad to say. GREAT SHOP, GREAT SERVICE. more

I am so happy with Bride n Belle. From the first time I walked into Bride n Belle, I knew this shop wasn't like the others. I had been to 4 other bridal shops in the surrounding cities prior to Bride n Belle and they all treated me the same way.... cold. At Bride n Belle, there was no added pressure. I felt the warmth of a small bridal boutique but the shop was surprisingly big. The selection was great as well as the prices. I purchased my wedding gown there as well as my girls bridesmaids gowns. The seamstress did a spectacular job on all of our gowns. One of my girls was pregnant and they even made her gown look really good. I still can't believe how easy it was at this shop compared to the others. Theresa, which is the owner, is awesome. Since my wedding, which was in March,2010, I had stopped in the shop just to thank them all and say hello and they still treat me so great. it's not about just business there. Bride 'n' Belle was the only shop in the Boston area to have the dress I wanted to try on without having to order it. I tried on the dress I thought I would want, but was also encouraged by Kris, the very friendly consultant, to try others as well. She chose several other beautiful beach gowns, but we all knew the first one was it. I was in and out in 30 minutes. I had only one fitting because the dress was adjusted perfectly. I needed to pick up the dress on my way from Chatham to Montreal at 7:00 am on a Sunday morning, and just knew this wouldn't be possible given the store opens at 12:00 pm on Sundays. However, Teresa gave me her personal home number and asked me to call her when I was 15 minutes from the shop. She met me at the shop at 7:00 am, let me try the gown on once more, and hugged me as I left with my perfect dress. Thank you for making this experience so easy and accommodating my needs! more

I decided to go to just one store. First time wedding I did not want to be one of those bridezillas you see on tv. I chose Bride & Belle because it was near a friend of mine who was going with me. When I called for an appointment they got me in immediately. I was surprised. From the minute I walked in the door we were treated like family. The girl who was gathering dresses for me did great. She kept them rolling in with a smile. I loved playing with the ladies trying on different things, and getting their opinions. When I walked out in an Alfred Angelo, a dress THEY picked for me to try, IT WAS THE ONE! All of us gleamed with excitement, they shared the same excitement I did! I spent 3 visits with the staff at Bride & Belle, and got to work with all of them I had fun, I had no worries. They helped me find the dress of my dreams, and make it a memory I will NEVER forget. Compared to all else of planning the wedding this was by far the best experience. They listened to me, they followed through, no pressure, no rushing, and lots of laughs. It is easy to make the time to leave a bad review because you are determined to make it known, but people should really take the time to applaud these people for what they do, what they put up with and they still do their job with a smile. They go the extra mile, and yes they are experienced. Leave yourself enough time to spend with the staff, people can not blame someone else for their time being short. I did not read the reviews before I went to this store, and I hope other people do not get turned away by the negative ones because as I found, my experience was nothing like that. I always said I was only getting married once, and I am so happy I spent my time with Teresa, and her staff. I HIGHLY reccomend them. It was worth my four hour round trip drive x's 3. This was not the first stop for my daughter and myself as we looked for the perfect wedding gown with the excitement of her wedding in tow!!! But it was the LAST!!At Bride N Belle we found total committment and experience to a specialty field that people pretend to have but lack due to franchise stores. We were greeted with such enthusiam and professionalism that even though we did not have an appointment we we attended to and pampered . They were busy but acknowledge us and told us to go upstairs and look around and that they would be with us momentarily. And they were! Theresa was outstanding and her staff was truly knowledgable about their inventory , what's in what's out and their selections of gowns for the bride, maids and Mothers was truly overwhelmng for such a boutique. I was impressed and surprised!! The prices were right on and even a little better that the other boutiques we visited. This store is a treasure for Brides!\r Their bridal jewelry is breathtaking and their prices are so reasonable given the specialized service they provide.\r We orderd the Bridal gown and the 7 Maid dresses, the mother of the groom has ordered hers and I am still on the fence as to what size I will be after loosing weight. Theresa has assured me that no matter when I am ready to order my dress she will be there for me .\r I have read the other reviews on this web page and find it difficult to believe that they are talking aabout the same store and the reason for that is that I am a perfectionist and a little hard to please and believe me\r my daughtere was so happy after leaving there! If you are looking for a place to make you be that beautiful movie star Bride 'N' Belle is the place to go! From the owner Teresa to the entire staff you can see that everything is done with class, and perfection. They are verry dedicated to pleasing the customer. Words can't express how happy I am that I went there. Also I would like to mention right next door is Jason Anthony's which is Teresa son's (Tuxedo shop), I was very pleased with his work and his dedication to his business. All the men in the wedding party looked fantastic! Between these two shops they take pride in there work because they love what they do, and as a customer you see, and feel that when you walk in and when you walk out wearing something they put there whole heart into you feel proud as a customer. After checking out several other bridal stores I stumbled into this place and I am eternally grateful that I did. What was turning out to be a bride-to-be's nightmare started to fade away the moment I stepped through Bride n' Belle's door. Teresa and her entire staff were so professional and courteous, and walked me through everything I needed to make my wedding the single greatest day of my life. I just got married this past weekend and I got my wedding gown at Bride n Belle. I couldn't be happier. Everytime I went into the shop from my original appointment to look at wedding gowns to the last time when I picked up my dress, Teresa and the rest of Bride n Belle treated me great. Always so curteous to me and my mom, who I always went in with. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. Great selection and service. They made my wedding experience so much easier. After a good friend of mine reccomended Bride-n-Belle to me a while back, I went on citysearch to review it and I was nervous after reading some of the reviews. I decided to trust my friend and gave Theresa and the rest of the girls at Bride-n-Belle a shot. I couldn't be happier. They treated me like family from the moment I got there until I picked up my wedding gown (which looked incredible). I got my gown there and my bridesmaids dresses as well and I dont understand how anybody could have anything bad to say about this place. The service, selection, prices, and just flat out courtesy was all great. Me and all my girls looked amazing. I would reccomend Bride-n-Belle to anybody and everybody. They're the best. 5/5 stars. I bought a bridesmaid dress here and regret not just purchasing it through the internet instead! First, they never called to let me know it was in. Second, they took over 30 minutes to ""look for it"" when I came to claim it. Third, the lady tried to charge me more than the price I'd been quoted. Just all around terrible service. I recently put a deposit down on my dream wedding dress. The lady Jo that works there was really nice, and helped me out. I had told Jo that I would be losing a considerable amount of weight before my wedding, and voiced concern about the size of my dress. She told me not to worry, that the dress can be made into any size I need to fit me. Well, my dress has come in early and I tried it on...it is way too big--and I am still going to lose another 30 lbs!! I called up Bride N Belle to see if they would return the dress to get the size I wanted and I was told that they could not do that. I then asked why she didn't listen to me when I told her I was losing the weight and she said that ""all brides say that--and then they end up gaining weight"". On top of insulting me, she then said that if I had signed a wavier stating that I wouldn't blame them if the size I wanted didn't fit on my wedding day--that I could have ordered whatever size I wanted...Which I was never told when I initially ordered this dress--or I would have done so. Now reading all of these horrible reviews, I don't know whether to lose my $300 deposit and find a new dress, or give them the other $400 and pray that some other seamstress can take the whole dress apart to fit me... I think the service there, while they are nice (at least Jo is) is extremely unprofessional. Pros: Dress selection Cons: Unprofessional, Just out to make extra money more

this place should be burned, they don't give a sh1t about their customers and are nasty and rude. dont go there it isn't worth it, there are other GOOD dress shops around. more

My wife got her dress here and is still too upset to talk about it. The gown she ordered took twice as long as promised to arrive, and when it finally did come, they'd (apparently intentionally) ordered the wrong style! When she pointed that out, they tried several times to pass off other dresses from their back room as being ""hers"". I saw her subjected to long delays, dismissive or outright rude treatment, and to top it all off, their promises to ""make it right"" amounted to an incompetent, half-assed sewing job. I know nothing about dress altering, and even I could tell that this was bad work. Our complaints were met first with indifference and then with abuse from the owner. Finally we went elsewhere and found a wonderful woman who did an emergency fix. We're really considering suing this place. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, YOU'LL REGRET IT!! This bridal salon has extremely poor customer service! I made an appointment to view two gowns which the salesperson ""claimed"" they had. When I arrived they were not prepared for my appointment and did not have the gowns ready - even asked if I had any ideas as to what I would like to try on. The store had one of the gowns but could not find the other. I gave them a picture and gown catalog name to help locate it. She returned w/ a gown claiming ""we found it"". It looked nothing like it! She did this a few more times. We asked if they could find the gown information from the website, but they said they had no internet access. We asked about the designer's catalog and they were not sure they had it (they're listed on the designer's website). Meanwhile I tried on the gown she found for me. She never returned to fit or clip me. My friends finally asked for clips / veil and did this for me. When we tried to take pictures she hurried me off the stage knowing she would not make a sale. This was a very disappointing experience and I would NEVER recommend this shop. Cons: Service, Parking more

I wish I'd read the other reivews here before I gave these cheaters my money. They were nice at first, but the second I asked about how they were doing things, they became suspicious and nasty. They didn't even finish the gown until two days before the wedding, and when they did the fit was all wrong!! The bustling was awful, there were ragged seams and when I complained all they did was say that I should go to someone else!!!! And I actually did, it cost me hundreds of extra $$ the day before I got married!!!! Don't give them your money!!!!!!! Pros: Good selection Cons: Lousy sewing, terrible customer service more
