I went here looking for a wedding dress. I tried on several. They do not let you try on anything yourself, which I usually don't have a problem with, but the room is like 3x3 and there is no room for 2 people! They also refuse to tell you the designer of any dress until you buy it! That is ridiculous, some designers are worth a lot more. I don't want to pay a lot for a designer that I have heard negative things about quality, so I think not telling the designer is awful and deceiving. I also think that the employees were not very helpful, I always felt like I was interrupting and bothering them with my questions. I would never send a friend of mine there. more

My wife was pleasantly surprised with Bridal Gallery. She went in looking for Bridesmaid dresses and was able to spend alot of time trying on dresses without being hasseled. The employees were friendly, the store was neat and orderly. They had a great selection of different styles of dresses. Parking is at a premium and you have to park behind the store. more

This is a good place to find a wedding dress dispite the fact that the store looks really dumpy from the outside and is not that nice inside either. Their selection and friendly service helps to make up for the lack of the store appearance. The dressing rooms are small and have only a curtain to change behind. I purchased my bridal gown and ordered my 3 bridesmaids dresses here. My gown was perfect. I bought off the rack on layaway. The bridesmaid dresses were ordered from Mori Lee and they came in on time and as ordered. Store is open convenient hours, centrally located to all areas of Greater Grand Rapids, and the best part is that they have all sizes in stock to try on, so if you're not a perfect 4 they have tons of styles in every size to try on. My sister bought her wedding dress from Bridal Gallery for her April 2005 wedding. She had a great experience with this store. However, I went there when shopping for my wedding dress in October 2005 and wasn't quite so pleased. The lady at the counter was NOT friendly when we walked into the store. She explained how the dresses were set up and in the process insulted one of my BM in terms of what size dress she would need. They require one of their employees to help you try on the dress which made me very uncomfortable. They finally agreed that my MOH could help me into my dress. The employee assigned me continued to bring in dresses for me that were totally against anything I'd ever wear. The only positive to this store is they do have a decent selection of designer gowns. Also, like I mentioned before, my sister went with them and had very positive results. Maybe it's hit or miss there. more

I had to go here to get fitted for a dress for a friends wedding and was not treated with the best service. I had heard others talk about this but thought may be it was an overexaggeration. It wasn't. The women behind the counter didn't seem to eager to help. If you need a dress I wouldn't recommend this place, there are others out there that will treat you better. more

This bridal shop has a lot to choose from, but there they lack in teh customer service department. They are not very friendly to work with. The prices are pretty comparable, so you may want to look around if you want better customer service. It's not the greatest looking inside either, and i would definetly not recommend to friends. more
