Bridal Elegance

I shopped around at many bridal stores but had yet to find the perfect dress. I went to bridal elegance and was greeted by a very nice and sweet store owner.....Stacey. I set up an appointment and tried on a ton of dresses, Stacey was very helpful and helped me find the PERFECT dress. I placed the order for my dress in July and my wedding was in April of the following year. PLENTY of time. I was told the dress could take anywhere from 4-6 months to be delivered. 6 months being very extreme. She assured me I would have the dress absolutely no later than January. I called in January and was told just a few more weeks. I conitinued to call every few weeks with no response from Stacey. I became frantic and my fiance at the time finally went to the store and confronted Stacey. She said she has been in contact with the designer and guaranteed my dress would be here in a few days. This went on for weeks and I could never get in touch with Stacey. FINALLY, after many frantic phone calls and visits to the store from my fiance, I got my dress 3 WEEKS before my wedding. I was absolutely stressed and very unhappy with the service. I tried on my dress to find out that it fit very tight and I only had 3 weeks to make it work. It could only be altered so much. I had to get on a crash diet to fit into my dress. If I knew ahead of time that the dress wouldnt fit I could have dieted better. My wedding planning experience should have been fun and exciting but this dress incident completely ruined it for me. I broke out in hives from all the stress. My mom and fiance were so upset because they saw how stressed I was. I even started calling other bridal shops because I thought I would have to buy a dress off the rack. I thought I would never have my dress. I think what bothered me the most was not hearing from Stacey. She left many calls and messages unanswered and she avoided me for weeks. Sorry for the long story ladies but I only think its fair that you are all warned. If you do decide to buy at Bridal Elegance please be careful and make you sure you follow up on the status of your dress. I vow to make a search for them on every search engine out there just to put my review. What they're doing is not acceptable. My wedding is in 3 weeks and I have not seen my dress yet. I was told that my dress would come in 1st week of April and there will be plenty of time for alterations. Until now I do not have my dress. I was so excited because they carry the dress I found on a magazine. When I sent in an e-mail for an appointment Stacey was quick to response. On a weekend at night time, she didn't have a problem setting up an appointment for me. Now it's time to know where my dress is, **poof** she vanishes. Avoid this store at all cost! Brides are already stressed out planning their wedding and this store will just add into that. On April 28th I got this e-mail from Stacey after multiple e-mails to her: ""Just got an update on the dress. It is clearing customs and should be in next week. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I have been out of town and just got back in earlier today and had to get caught up. I'll give you a call as soon as it arrives."" I wonder if they read this review or just a coincidence that they sent an e-mail reply the same day I wrote the review on yelp....hhhmmm... On May 5th ago I sent an e-mail asking for the tracking number. I haven't heard from Stacey yet. Pros: Great response time for appointment Cons: When they have your $ they vanish more

This store owner is on the internet all day posing as a bride on message boards (trying to drum up business). Get a life! Everyone on the knot is onto you, ""Shuttlbug"". more

I came in on a Tuesday afternoon by myself, after leaving David's Bridal due to their poor customer service and long wait time, and oh my gosh - I couldn't have been happier with the service that Stacey, the owner, provided. I was warmly greeted and really listened to when it came to my price range of $1000. She didn't try to sell me on more expensive gowns. Also, unlike other bridal ""warehouses"" that swath the gowns in plastic and tell you not to touch, all of Stacey's gowns were beautifully displayed and you could get to really feel the fabrics. Stacey also gave me some great, different suggestions, and was honest when dresses looked good or didn't look good. Prepare to have her help you dress in the dressing room, too. I can't WAIT to come back with my mom and best friend and pick the dress! i have visited several bridal shops and bridal elegance was the first that i went to that i felt had a great selection of dresses in a variety of styles, great prices in a wide price range and wonderful customer service. i went in one weekend and tried on a few gowns and followed up the following weekend and the owner even remembered what gowns i had tried on during my previous visit. she was helpful and i was able to try on as many dresses as i wanted. she also lets you take pictures of the dresses which is very helpful. its a wonderful environment with great dresses without the snobby attitude you get at a lot of other bridal salons. I am new to Southern California and had done one round of shopping for my bridal gown already. The visit to Bridal Elegance was the first time shopping with my family. Even though the staff was short-handed (just one person there!) I was still able to make an appointment and received great service. The saleswoman was EXTREMELY patient, helpful and the exact opposite of pushy. She steered me in the right direction as far as price and style and gave me great guidance for new arrivals and the difference between manufacturers. The dresses were in great condition. they had a great selection and good price range. She was very patient with myself and my family. I have been to several salons and this is by far the best visit.
