We were going to another local dentist and were very happy with the other dentist, but our insurance changed so we switched to Dr. Kirkwood. What a horrible experience! My children had only rarely had cavities (we go every 6 months) but now they all had tons of cavities to fill, even my son who had never had one in his life had 6 cavities. I was so stupid for letting him work on my family members. My boys were in pain for months after he worked on them. He filled a ""cavity"" of mine but insurance didn't pay since it had been filled 6 months earlier by my other dentist. Kirkwood didn't even bother to check to see what had been done previously. He worked on a friend of mine and she had the same experience. Since then I have talked to several people who had the exact same experience.
