Unsatisfied Customer 6/28/2014

My experience with BQ Basements.......Years after installation, I continue to get water in my basement with BQ's "Waterproofing System". This company has been to my home several times but unable to successfully resolve this ongoing issue. Two of the technicians that have been out to my home admitted that their system may not be able to handle the amount of water that comes into the basement.\r \r After numerous unsuccessful attempts at fixing the water issue, I continued to call the company whenever it rained and water entered my basement. When a representative from the company finally returned my phone calls she said they will not come out to make anymore attempts at resolving this issue, claiming the lifetime warranty only covers water that passes over the perimeter drain. The perimeter drain overflows whenever we got heavy rain leading me to believe both of the technicians were correct with their statements.\r \r This water problem still exists with no resolution from the company. Terrible Experience 3/1/2012

We do not recommend BQ if you want a good customer experience and quality work. While our basement is waterproofed, the white walls they put in look terrible. Was sold and paid for a system that shouldn't have been installed in my type of basement, but we weren't told that until after installation and after we paid. Go to someone else and don't pay until after you're happy with the work. BQ while they claim they want to help and make things right, make it very difficult when things go wrong. They'll apologize up and down and come out again and again, but don't ever really provide any resolution...ever! more

Go to someone else and don't pay until after you're happy with the work. BQ while they claim they want to help and make things right, make it very difficult when things go wrong. BQ Basement Systems provides professional services at outstanding prices, and backs their products! In October 02, I purchased a home, which had a sump pump, but still collected water. After receiving estimates from five companies, I selected BQ Basement Systems. It was the best decision I could have ever made. They completed the work quickly, ensuring the basement was clean before they left. Yearly, BQ Basement Systems contacts me to complete a yearly maintenance call. \r \r One year while inspecting my basement system, I discussed the cracking basement walls with a technician who informed me that BQ Basement System installs a ?Clean Space? wall covering system guaranteed for mold resistance for 25 years. BQ installed this system in my home.
