I was hoping to find a nail salon by work, so I bought a Groupon for this Boutique Du Jour, Salon Du Jour. I called to set up an appointment three weeks before the expiration of the groupon - no appointments available, so sorry - there goes half the value. Then I set up an appointment after losing half the value of the Groupon, show up on time on a Saturday morning and the salon is just opening and the nail tech isn't there yet. Okay, I wait. In the meantime, I use the restroom - which is FILTHY, no hot water and no paper towels to dry your hands on. How do your employees wash and clean their hands with no hot water in the restroom?? Gross. Wait some more - no one offered water, apologized for the delay, nothing. I left after waiting 20 minutes. \r The place is run by amateurs who need a full service cleaning crew to CLEAN the place and organize it. I think I dodged a bullet by walking out 20 minutes later. What a typical Corpus Christi DUMP salon. \r Oh, and don't park in the back as they're ""having issues with theft"" which is on the classy sign in the bathroom. more

Worst salon I have ever experienced!!! Not sure the the techs there are even licensed? There service led you to feel as if they were on the job training. The manager/owner Betty is so extremely unprofessional! Do not recommend to anyone, be forewarned. A complete waste of money. more

Best Salon Ever 4/18/2012

Best Salon Ever 18 years. The people are great and super friendly. I always feel at home there. They always make every client feel special...service with a smile! Everybody works hard and YOU come first when you are there. I have recommended Boutique Du Jour to all my friends and they all go there for hair and nails and more. I had the Brazillian Blowout for 99.00 its FABULOUS 5 STARS!! more

Awesome Temp Lashes!!!! 3/28/2012

A friend told me that this salon does temporary lashes as well as eyelash extensions and I was so excited to go in. The temporary lashes are on sale right now for $35. It was such a great deal and my eyes look fabulous!!!!!!! more

Not what was expected... Unpleased. 10/21/2011

went in for a style and highlights. This place is in no way relaxing. The atmosphere was dull. No music, no magazines, place was dirty, had hair all over the floor. The stylists didn't seem to know what they were doing. My highlights were burnt, the cut wasn't what was advised to the stylist, but close i guess. This place is way overpriced for the service. My stylist messed up and I had to stay longer. They don't have a receptionist, so every time someone came in or the phone rang, a stylist had to stop and go take care of it. And i have seen them start a client and exchange to another. They didn't seem friendly, rather frumpy about being at work. I can't believe I paid that much for all of that. Well, you live you learn and I would in no way return to this place. more

Very Happy Client, It was very relaxing. I was pampered from head to toe. All the employee are friendly. I also had my highlight done, and hair looks amazing. Best job ever. I highly recommend BDJ and will tell all my friends. My experiences was wonderful and relaxing. more

Worst experience in my life! The male owner highlighted my hair and was very unprofessional and paternalistic as he ordered around the submissive women working for him. He was offering a special and I know why. He left me sitting their with bleach on my hair for over 1 hour while highlighting two other women's hair. I finally had to speak up and then one of the girls asked the owner if she could rinse me out. My baby-fine hair was "white" and falling out in chunks. Please do not trust your hair to this salon. You will regret it and cannot turn back. Ladies, stay clear. more

Terrible 2/14/2011

This place is pretty bad. The owner Betty did not impress me. It's suppose to be a relaxing environment while getting pampered, but she was rude to her employees in front of me. For example, the hair straightener one of her employees was using on me was pulling my hair and when I mentioned that I felt it Betty started berating her employee that she needed to go get a $30 money order to replace the straightener. As far as service, Betty started on me twice and then walked away and sat down in a chair while her employees left other clients in chairs with haircuts half complete to finish my hair. And, after all of that, my haircut sucks. I asked her to fix it twice and still have choppy places. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. Please don't try it. more

This was my first time visiting Boutique Du Jour after not being too impressed with my last hairstyle from other salons. Everyone was very friendly and my hair is the best i have ever had it. Bettyunderstood and listened to how I wanted my hair done and now I have amazing hair to prove it :) I will definitely be going here from now on! more

For Christmas I was given a Gift Cerificates. For massage Pedicure, & Facial I had a great and relaxing time.\r The staff is wonderful and friendly. I had been to other salons and but not as good as this one. Boutique Du Jour\r Salon is amazing. I told all my Friends. more

This place is horrible!! The owners Michael and Betty are the worst business people I have ever come across!! It's suppose to be a relaxing environment while getting pampered, but all they do is argue with each other!! And they are so rude to their employee's! As far as service, WOW, I don't know where they got there license.. They do an awful awful job!! Highlights are always yellow, cuts are never what you ask for!! and they are way over priced! The name of the salon is defiantly fooling!!! I don't know how they are still in business, really!!! more
