This place was awful. I paid $700 for highlights and permanent hair straightening, and I wouldn't have minded the price if THE STRAIGHTENING CHEMICALS ACTUALLY WORKED. I was instructed not to wash my hair for 3 days, and once I did, my hair would naturally be straight. I washed my hair and went to hair with my hair wet. I woke up to a huge, poofy, frizzy mess - which is exactly what my hair had been like BEFORE. \r \r When I demanded a refund, Michael - the freaking manager - said, "What about all of my hard work?" He did NOTHING. He kept passing me off between FOUR other women between a 7 hour period. I kid you not. They kept ruining the ends of my hair so much, they had to chop off 4 inches! 4 inches!!! After a relaxer, you'd think they'd know not to go crazy with a blowdryer and a prickly brush. My hair kept breaking off into the brush! First of all it is a salon and spa there should not be children around all of those harmful chemicals. Second of all the quality you recieve is outrageous I do not know about you but I hate seeing people with Tejano hi lites... If I were you I would seek serious counceling that way you know a great work when you recieve it. I just do not understand it if you did not like the work you recieved then why did you pay for it?. How do you know what she said unless you were evesdropping and even then you did not get the whole story. So ma'am in there defense you have no clue as to what they were saying or even who they were talking about. Maybe YOU should have minded your own business. more

Please Don't be fooled by Boutique Du Jour's fancy name and fancy commercials. They do horrible hair. I think they spend too much money on advertising and not enough money on education. more

This salon is the worst salon ever. Betty is probably the worst colorist that there could possibily be. I should of looked them up b4 I went there but they have been written up 3 times and now 4 including the complaint i just sent them. I also filed a complaint with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. The owner Michael Anthony refused to give me all the license numbers so I had to make a few phone calls and I got everything squard away. Betty also was complaining on how all her clients are stupid and I told her that was rude and she told me to F off. Great way to run a business dont ya think. Pros: no pros at all Cons: It was horrible and their profanity in front of children made it even worse more
