I'll be honest, this is not my type of place. I'm into the smokey neighborhood bars, always up for a game of cricket..... so I'll try to be unbiased.
We went on a weekend, and parking was a pain. Valet was backed up, and although we were told not to park in the Dominick's lot, we did. So I would suggest getting there early to avoid the traffic jam.
Walking in, the bouncer's were polite and when asked, directed us to the sport's bar, which I enjoyed. Drinks were priced well, bartenders were courteous and quick. I cannot stress how big this place is, and i was surprised with the sport's section being as large as it was. I was happy to find some live music in this section, it was actually a really good time....
but then we took a walk and found ourselves in the "night club" section.
They had a band performing marky mark and the funky bunch songs (wtf?) with two dancers. Total throw back to the 90's, and NOBODY was enjoying themselves. We tried to leave there to check out the other dance section, but it was packed. Good music was being played there, but it was so hot people were coming out drenched.
All in all, I would recommend the sport's bar, not so much the dance club, unless you like house/mix/90's B96 music. I must say, however, it seemed the patrons of this bar were having a great time. It seemed pretty average to me, but oh well.
I wasn't there for the beer garden, but I've heard great things about that.
