Worst company ever! 1/5/2016

I'm sad to say that I have had ALOT of problems with this company. They installed an all house air conditioner w/ a heat pump around April 2014. Six months later I started having problems and they have been unable to resolve it thus far. Also, when they came to install it, the sales guy never told them what they would be doing and now I have a huge pipe that runs down the inside of my closet down to the basement. Every time I have called I requested someone who knows about heat pumps and almost everytime, they have sent someone who knows nothing about them. The salesman also told us we could use the heat pump into the single digits when in fact a heat pump can only be used up to 40 degrees. The unit is still making the same noise dispute them replacing a part last month. The girls who answer the phones are the worst!!! They never know what to do or how to help. I have requested to speak to Rick Bottini on multiple occasions and have never received a call back even after leaving him a m more

I got a call back from a woman named Dana who said she checks his messages. Today, I tried to renew my matianence plan (that had expired) and was told they do not service my type of unit. it was obvious that she had no idea what she was talking about because I was RENEWING a plan I already had. After losing my mind, she realized she had not looked at my account and they in fact do and have serviced my unit that they delivered oil for just yesterday!!!!! Despite my many requests again to speak with Rick Bottini, I have not been contacted back by him. I again left a message with Bob for Rick to call me, Let's see how much he cares about his customers.....if I don't hear back, after my fuel contract is up, we will never use them again. At this point, I would not recommend them to anyone. more

I have been a more than satisfied Bottini customer since 1992. Their staff are efficient, cordial, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Automatic delivery has never left me without heating oil and any call I've made to the office has been professionally addressed. more

A Fuel Oil company to trust 10/7/2013

Recently signed up with Bottini. John, Sales Manager, is very knowledgeable and friendly, and quickly got me set up with a great plan. Frank Smith, Boiler Technician, came to my house to cure an ailing boiler,and fixed it quickly and efficiently. He's a good fellow, also very knowledgeable. Filled in a bunch of gaps in my understanding about how the boiler works, and how to make it more efficient. Thanks, Frank.\r \r Great service, good people, good prices. I'm looking forward to a strong relationship with them for my place in the country. more

GREAT SERVICE!!! 5/25/2012

An old hot water heater started leaking at 1:00am, and me and my wife stayed up the whole night mopping water up. Called Bottini the next morning, and by 10am, they had a technician at the house, and he sealed the water lines. I have been a Bottini customer for over 10yrs, and have always had great service. They are realiable, professional and knowledgable. I can't say that for other service providers, so I am glad to have a partner like Bottini. more

Woke up to no hot water at 5:45 am - not a good way to start the day - placed a service call and had someone to my house within 30 minutes - fixed in 10 and on my way to work after a nice hot shower!! Great response time - great service!!! more

Great job for the last 35 yrs for me 1/16/2012

I have been a customer since 1977. I have spoken with Dana almost exclusively for the last number of years. She is consistently the nicest, friendliest, most helpful & caring person I have ever come across. More people, in more places need to be so genuine like her! \r Dana has done everything, scheduling my cleanings and oil deliveries, to,most recently, solved and got my "gurgling/no heat on one side of the house" problem fixed. She has helped me out with questions pertaining to billing and contracts. She listens and really does understand where or what I am talking about and obtains the best answers and takes action to my FULL SATISFACTION! She is a great role model. She is the perfect example of someone who knows how to get and maintain customer satisfaction. \r The service technicians have done a great job in maintaining my oil boiler. The 1st one was replaced in 1988 and that one is still running great now. \r Bottini has been around for so long because they know what they are doi more

The Worst Company In The Hudson Valley 9/26/2011

ive unfortunately delt with this terrible company for 10yrs now . but im finally done . not only does their customer service leave much to be desired , their prices are way higher than anyone else , i came home today to find my propane tank capped and the regulator removed because of a ""clerical error"" . after over 10yrs of dealing with this 3rd rate company , they still wouldnt deliver heating oil unless it was paid in advance . where am i going ? they know where i live for christ sake . my mom , a senior , who pays for her heating oil in advance so she wont run out (to Bottini) , was told last winter when she ran out of heating oil , that they were sorry and would be out in a few days with heating oil . but that there would be a service charge to bleed out the fuel line to the boiler !!!! Stay away from Bottini oil !!!!! better service and prices are to be found elsewhere .... this is a horrible company to deal with !!! more

They have you sign a contract for a set ""discounted price"", when in reality you NEVER PAY THAT PRICE! There is always one reason or another for the change.\r They are very, very dishonest - don't trust them! more

As someone who has used many propane companies in Dutchess county over the 13 years I have been in business, I have to rate this one as the absolute worst! They shut off the fuel to my tank and then charged me for the contracted amount that I did not use. They have harrassed my business endlessly for this money. Either they are in desperate need for money or just mean.\r more

Very poor communication. I have left many messages for management without a return call. They claim to be a family run business but i think that the family has retired and the boys that were given this business are ready to sell and cash in. Don't use them. more

True LP Price $4.15 Per Gal from Bottini Fuel 11/30/2010

High LP gas prices. Bottini will show a super low price at their web site but it's not close to the truth. They claim their pricing is up front but far from the truth. Using less then 1500 gals a year adds 40% or more to that price and then add in the $55.00 yearly fee as a ""Service Contract"" on the tank. What a joke. They explain the service as an inspection on filling up. They state I'm getting an adjustment on that charge too. The standard fee is $85.00. \r TOTAL COST PER GAL $4.15 PER GAL.(2010-11) They should put that on their web page in their up front pricing.\r \r more

Shorten the life of your furnace:Hire Bottini 3/12/2010

If you want to pay an annual maintenance fee to Bottini for the privilege of having them shorten the life of your top-of-the-line oil burner, go for it. They're not about customer service. They're about the service to their bank account that gullible, trusting customers can render. more

Being a customer for over 30 years, I can say that there service department is very professional as well as there receptionists. There oil prices might be slightly higher but their professionalism makes up for it. more

oil prices too high 2/18/2009

Their oil prices were way too high saved a lot of money with competitor. Propane service is ok. They were always on the ball when my boiler broke down but you think they could have sold me a new boiler to save on the oil bill more

Fuel Oil Company 1/5/2009

I have been a Bottini Fuel customer for over 5 years. They are very reliable and offer competitive fuel prices. They have been to my house when the boiler died in the middle of the night. I have had very good customer service from them. more
