Fantastic Spa, had a great time, professional staff. I had an "All Day Affair" and would recommend it to anyone. I've been to Resort Spas and have never been treated as good as I was at Bodyworks Emporium. If you are looking for some stress-free time go to this fantastic spa. more

I will never go there again. Had a problem. Called 3 times to talk to a manager and never got to. They would not honor their own gift card. Very rude, selfish, and a mockery to the name spa. If I could sue over it I would. I will never use them again and would encourage you to find another spa in the area. more

I took my elderly mother to Bodyworks Emporium for a partial day spa package a few months ago. She'd never been to a spa before (I've been to a ton) but she was extremely nervous. From the moment we walked in the door she started to immediately relax. The lady at the front that greeted us was so caring and kind and we were just getting started. The therapists that took care of us genuinely cared about how we felt throughout our treatments and afterwards. It didn't just feel like we were being pampered, my mother and I both agreed, it felt like we'd been given true physical therapy is every sense of the word! We enjoyed lunch by candlelight in the "mind spa" in between our services and it was great. We plan to go back every year for a mom and daughter day, but my mother has been going back every 3 weeks for massage and reflexology and has seen her blood pressure drop and she has more energy than I've seen in years! I've never written on this site before, but seeing how much this place has helped my mother feel better, I just felt obligated. Pros: Cozy, warm atmosphere, fantastic, kind, caring staff! Cons: It looks much smaller from the outside than it really is. more

My 4 girlfriends and I went to Bodyworks Emporium before my wedding and we had the absolute best time! The service providers were fantastic! We all were so pleased to enjoy every service, lot's of times in a large group there's one or two that didn't enjoy their treatment but not in this case, all the girls were thrilled with everything and we left relaxed and rejuvenated! We also had the spa director supply food and wine for us which we had in between treatments and we all participated in a bellydancing class to kick things off which was just a blast! If you're ever looking for a spa to put on the best day for you and some friends look no further... this place rocks!!! Pros: SERVICE! SERVICE! SERVICE! Cons: NONE more

I have been a customer of this spa for years and it is by far the best. I have tried other places locally and on vacations but nothing can compare. I love the La Stone massage! It is my favorite. I have tried facials, massages, waxing, manicures and pedicures here and all have been great. The staff is fantastic and very friendly. I simply show up on time and they wisk me away to my treatment room. I rarely wait for an appointment. If I do it is because the previous customer showed up late! I would recommend this spa to anyone! The have great gift cards too! Pros: quiet atmosphere with no smelly hair chemicals Cons: maybe parking - but I always find a spot more

I recently went to Bodyworks Emporium for a pedicure and a massage and I would recommend their services to anyone! I loved the ambiance and the people were so friendly, they truly made my experience a true pleasure. As for the services, I felt so completely pampered and as a person who goes to the spa on a regular basis I have to say, these were some of the best treatments I've ever received. Thanks Bodyworks! I was very disapointed with the lack of friendly (or any) customer service this spa offered. The place looked nice, but the staff (blonde chick at the main counter) was so rude, I'll never go back. I am 5 months pregnant and visiting family (I'm currently living in AK). My sister and I booked a 1 1/2 block for mani's and pedi's. I confirmed 3 times that our apt was at 1:30. We arrived and were excited to finally have some relaxation. H0WEVER, when we arrived we we greeted by a really "uppity - I'm better than you staff member." She told us our apt was at 1 and that there was nothing she would do to help us. We explained that we had confirmed our apts 3 times...she said we were wrong. (So much for the customer's always right). We asked if we could still do a mani or pedi since we did book an 1 1/2 slot. She said no and was so rude about it, she might as well of told us to get the hell out. I was in the Air Force for 6 yrs, and traveled to many places...and have gone to many spa's. This spa's lack of customer service is by far the worst I've ever had. If you chose to go here, good luck - maybe you'll find friendlier service than I did. My experience with the staff at Bodyworks has been nothing but wonderful. I've been going there for a few years (although not as often as I'd like), and my visits have always been relaxing and soothing. The therapists I have seen have zeroed in on my special needs, and given me exactly what I need. I feel so much better - physically and mentally - after even just a 30 minute session. I've never had to wait very long for my appointment, but the reason I go there is to relax, so I do just that no matter what. I love the smells in the gift shop, and looking over the books and other merchandise. I never plan to do anything after a visit to Bodyworks - I go directly home to enjoy the lasting effects of my visit. Now that I'm thinking about it, I need to plan another visit very soon! Bodyworks Emporium is the place to go when you need to leave your stress at home or at work. THe massages are wonderful and the shop has such wonderful items to sooth your body and soul. more
