I have used the services of Body Z Alive for about 5 years. Hydro Colon Therapy is a regular part of my healthcare regimen and BZA is the best place in town to have this treatment. The BZA team is outstanding and the intimate space is very relaxing. There is no hard sell or pushy staff. For some the process of getting a colonic may seem crazy, however the benefits are amazing. I have been going to BodyZAlive since 2005 and I have been going every week since. I think when you are not familiar with the process the whole thing can seem intimidating, but I would encourage anyone considering a colonic to definitely go here. The truth is, if this place didn't exist, I'm not sure if I would be still getting colonics.... I just feel very relaxed, safe and respected at BodyZAlive, and I always have a great time chatting with Lou during the time I'm there. I think she has been a colon therapist and a REAL therapist to me at times, as I seem to just talk openly about everything with her. Anyways, I get colonics every week because it helps me to feel at my best, the times I have gone 2 or 3 weeks without it, I just feel congested all over. Body Alive will greet you with a smile and caring ways....they will guide you through the procedure and hold your hand in the session to make sure you are comfortable...they will always try to accommodate your schedule and call you ASAP with any cancellations...the procedure is definitely not as bad as you might think or hear...I would recommend Body Alive to anyone who has been on antibiotics or lead an unhealthy lifestyle...I had been on antibiotics for years and have a spastic colon so they helped me tremendously...also, they introduced me to probiotics and other products that have made my life a 100% better...Body Alive is a quaint atmosphere with a staff that is ready to help and make you feel at home! more

I went to Body Alive on a recommendation from a friend and colleague, and it was an amazing experience, from the first phone call through to the after-visit questions I had. They accommodated my schedule, as I wanted to come in that weekend, but they were full. However, they called me as soon as they had a cancellation so that I could make it in. As this was my first-time, I was a little nervous, but Angie (my therapist) was very sweet and calming with her tone of voice and explanation of the procedure. I won't go into too much detail, but I will say that the experience itself was actually quite relaxing, and Angie made specific diet and lifestyle recommendations for me throughout the process. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to feel cleaner, lighter, and healthier--I know I'll be going back! more

I would not recommend Body Alive to anyone, unless they are willing to be greeted by extremely rude employees and treated disrespectfully. I walked into their offices a few weeks ago in order to buy a few herbal products they sell and the woman working that day looked at me like ""why are you in here"", no greeting, no ""can I help you"", nothing, just a look of disgust. I quickly realized I had interrupted what she was doing, so I told her what I needed to buy and throughout the transaction, which I apologized TWICE for because I was CLEARLY unwanted, I received ABSOLUTELY no verbal response. Non-verbally, however, the woman rolled her eyes at me, shook her head with obvious disgust for me taking up her time (as a paying customer mind you) finished the transcation and walked back into another room, without a word. No ""thank you"", no ""have a good day"", no ""let me know if you need anything else""...nada. This was not the first time I was treated in this manner at this office, but it was the last. Noone deserves to walk into an office and be treated this rudely, and to make my decision even more final, when I complained about the service to the manager of body alive via their website, NO RESPONSE! If you are looking for a colon hydrotherapy facility or to buy natural herbal cleansing products, please find a friendlier place, with more compassion and respect for their clients than Body Alive. more
