We're very pleased with Bode Floors. Beth gave us exceptional service when assisting us with purchasing some rugs. She was extremely honest and helpful in helping us select one. They had a vast selection of high-quality rugs. We also found the prices to be very reasonable. Everyone we spoke to at Bode Floors had the integrity that sets them apart from other businesses. I absolutely recommend Bode Floors. I've been using Bode Floors for the past eight years and Beth is the salesperson that I talk to whenever I go there. She's always able to pinpoint exactly what my needs are whenever I explain to her what I'm looking for and all of the other representatives that I've spoken to have been equally accommodating, warm, and professional. Beth really knows her stuff. I've hired Bode Floors to install new tile flooring for my kitchen and all new carpeting for my entire condo. I'm happy with the prices and the installers are always very punctual and friendly. They always clean up after themselves and I have no qualms with leaving them at my home as I go out and run some errands because they are so respectful. The work they do is outstanding and I'm definitely glad to have found them. more

I used Bode Floors for the first time, and it won't be the last! They were professional and punctual, whether it was the estimator or the guys who came to do the work. They installed a vinyl tile floor in my bathroom, and a few hours after the work was done, Linda, the estimator, called to make sure the work was completed. On top of the work they did, they spent as much time as needed for me to make a decision about what I wanted. The installer explained how things would be done. They couldn't have been nicer, and they couldn't have been more customer service-oriented! They are a phenomenal place to deal with! I have no plans in the near future for other work, but I do have some ideas that I would like to have done eventually, and these are the people who I want to do the work. Anybody who needs any work done in terms of flooring shouldn't hesitate to use Bode Floors. They're incredible, and I would recommend them to anyone! more

We do NOT recommend this company. We had 1500 square feet of very expensive engineered Brazilian Cherry hardwood flooring installed last August. Within one month the floor began to cup and come up. Manufacturer claim nothing wrong with product, Bode said not enough moisture. Not enough moisture in August in the DC area, are you kidding? We even have a humidifier and had it checked by A/C tech. Handicapped resident and dangerous situation. VERY DISSATISFIED!!!! NO STARS RESPONSE FROM BODE FLOORS: We are, of course, concerned that Mrs. Bishow is unhappy with her Brazilian Cherry hardwood floor. As explained to her prior to installation, including requiring a written sign off by her on this very topic, all hardwood manufacturers have a minimum humidity level that must be maintained in the home to keep a hardwood floor looking good. Her humidity level tested by us is less than 25 percent, virtually "baking" the floor during the winter months, causing a condition called "dry cupping". At no charge, despite the fact that there is no manufacturer defect nor installation error here, we have already replaced numerous boards that she was complaining about previously. Until we saw this review, we were NOT aware that Mrs. Bishow had any ongoing concerns, as we have never been contacted about them since our previous repair work was completed. more

We got different types of carpet for different areas in our house from Bode Floors. It was our first time using them. Steve Needle was the sales person we dealt with, and he was exceptional! He was heavy on service in the most positive way. We had a decorator, but Steve helped us decide on what would make the most sense for our house, etc. The installers were wonderful. There were some hard jobs, and they did a really fine job. We did had something that could have been a problem. There was a line across the carpet in an area of my bedroom. The installers explained that it was because it was on the bottom, and that it would go away with some use and vacuuming. I called Steve, and he said I shouldn't worry. He also said that such marks usually go away, and that I should wait three to four weeks. He said if it didn't go away, I should call, and they would have someone come and steam it out. That's what ended up happening. The guy had to come and steam the mark, which came out. The truth is I was a little worried, but I had faith that Bode would stand behind the carpet. I was extra relived when the line did steam out. I had a friend over at the time, and she said she had a similar mark, and that the company she used ended up having to install a whole new rug. So although I was upset at the time, I relaxed to the point that I knew Bode would stand behind their work. If you're thinking of using them, go ahead and do it! Steve certainly knew his merchandise, and he was very accommodating. I wanted two extra pieces to use as little mats at the entrance of the living room from the deck. Steve told me not to let the installers take away the extra carpet pieces, and he told me about what size I would need. He came here on his way to work, and we decided together on the two pieces we would use. He said I didn't have to worry, that they would have the pieces bound, which I would pay for. Even though they haven't been completed yet because of the holidays, Steve has kept on top of it. I have complete faith they'll get done properly, and he'll bring them here. Bode Floor goes over and above! more

Primarily, I really thought the sales coordinator was fabulous. The workers in particular stayed focus, they were friendly and the flooring was done very nicely. I was greatly pleased with the entire work. more

I've used Bode Floors before, and I think they're super! They're very efficient, and they're on time when they come to install the carpet. They clean up after themselves, so I didn't have to do a thing! They vacuumed the whole room! Buying carpet from them is a pleasure. They're a really nice company to deal with. If you use them, you'll be thrilled! They're a good company, and they stand behind their work. more

My experience with Bode Floors was very positive, and I would recommend them without reservation! It was my first time using them. They replaced laminate flooring at my house in three rooms and a hallway with vinyl flooring, which I needed because I have four dogs who pee. The salesperson who came out to my house was very knowledgeable. He gave me an estimate and helped me choose the appropriate flooring, which I am very pleased with! The installers came and did an absolutely wonderful job. Bode has decades worth of experience, and they know flooring inside and out. They are not going to sell you something unless they feel it is the appropriate flooring for you! more

I look at this carpet every single day and admire it! Our experience with Bode was really nice when they installed carpeting eight years ago, and again when they installed some more recently. I enjoyed our saleswoman. She was very, very nice and came to our home to give us input that really helped guide us to the decision we made. We were also extremely impressed with the service when they actually installed it. There were two young men who came. They were very professional and gracious the whole time. I will never forget them! They handled everything fantastically and gave us a beautiful carpet. more

Bode Floors did our upstairs all in wood: four bedrooms and a hallway where the existing carpet was ripped up and replaced with hardwood floors to match up with bedrooms. The fella we worked with was good with following up with us when he got a better price on something we liked. We had an initial problem with the options they gave us and the high price on the one thing we liked. Evidently, there was a sale and Steve got back to us to let us know so it worked out better for us. They were responsive to what we needed, work was done exceedingly efficiently, and the crew they sent up was exceptional. more

We had our staircase to the second floor carpeted. Sherrie at Ellicott City was extremely patient and came to the house to give suggestions. She was always available when needed. The installation done by Ed Lotz was extremely professional - he arrived on time and completed the job professionally and courteously. My wife and I are extremely satisfied and would definitely recommend Bode Floors. more

We moved into a new house in June. Prior to moving in, we had the entire finished basement re-carpeted with Bode Floors. Steve was our salesperson and he did a great job. He was very friendly and made sure we had all the information. We had to switch our installation date a few times because we weren't sure what date we were getting into the house. It kept changing because of the sellers. So we had to reschedule two or three times and they were very accommodating. They were able to make it work on our schedule. Steve did a great job. He wasn't trying to oversell us. He just told us what he thought would work for us and what he felt was the highest quality carpet for the best price. He was very easy to work with. more

Bode Floors installed carpeting in my family room and ceramic tile flooring in my kitchen. I felt like I got a lot of great support with the selection of the material. I was initially leaning toward hardwood, and I felt like the salesperson helped me evaluate that decision so I could finally decide that carpet and tile were the better ways to go for look and feel. I just LOVE the tile, too. It is beautiful, and I really didn't have a vision for it before the salesperson reassured me and showed me several options. more

I had BODE FLOORS put carpet into the large washroom/utility room, which is like a giant closet. Sherry Z. was the young lady I worked with. I liked her personally very much. She has a great eye for color. She helped me with the whole thing. She helped to pick out the type of carpet and fabric too. The installer was a nice man. He came by himself, which at first made me nervous because he had to move a washer and a dryer by himself. He did with no problems. Everything is very nice. I am very happy with how it looks. Sherry called to make sure everything was good and that I was happy, which I was. more

I worked with Sherrie on my carpeting for my utility/laundry room. She helped me pick out the carpet. She has a really good color eye and was very helpful in deciding the type and texture of the carpet. Most importantly she listened to what I wanted and gave me good advise. It was installed correctly. Sherri contacted me to make sure everything went according to plan. I couldn't have been more pleased overall. more

I had both carpeting and hardwood installed. The salesman, Bob Wolf, was great. He was a great help in determining exactly what I needed. The carpeting took two hours and the crew was great. The hardwood was installed in one day. this included taking up old tile and carpet and then installing the hardwood. I was so impressed by the professionalism and the quality of the work. Everything was done perfectly! I am so happy with the results--I highly recommend Bode. more
