Bob's Rural Garbage Svc

I used this service for just a few months. They didn't come one week at all, I had to call and tell them they didn't pick up. They have trouble with drivers being sick etc. I put out my trash and after they pick up they will not pick up anything else if you forgot to set out something even though they pass right by your house again. I called and asked why and I was told they do not have to but once in awhile it s nice to know they would go out of their way a tiny bit to keep you happy. I have had a horrible experience with them overall. I would not recommend them to anyone. This morning they picked up 5 bags (10 is the limit) and left my 2 garbage cans untouched. These were kitchen sized little bags they took and left the rest. They never come at the same time and unreliable. I cancelled my service today and the lady was rude to me as if I was asking too much of them to do a service I was paying for. I was extremely disappointed to say the least! more

I have been using Bob's for 2 yrs and never any trouble except 2008 when we had no pickup for 3 weeks due to Christmas and New Years, but still paid same amount. I got a letter today saying my check was returned for insufficient funds, which I knew was not possible. The statement Bob's sent even said their bank could not locate my account. I was told by my bank they never received this check, which I knew was true as it wasn't showing on my statement. I was told by Bob's that "I did not have enough money in the bank to cover it!" After further review of the statement Bob's sent, I discovered that Bob's had tried sending my check through the wrong routing number of my bank, as my check's routing number and what they tried did not match. I have immediately switched trash companies (even though I am having to wait another week for this to be officially resolved as Bob's accountant not in this week!). It's not the mistake they made as every does, it was the way I was belittled through more

We were very pleased with Bob's service in our area. They were very dependable and timely. Even when our road was under construction, they managed to "take-out" our garbage each and every time! more

When we first started using Bob's, we were happy with the service. But then, it seemed as though every time we got a bill the price went up. What finally sent us to another company was when Christmas Day and New Year's Day fell on our trash day and our trash was not picked up for over three weeks. Of course on that next pick up day everyone had so much trash that the trucks did not make it to us and we had to wait another two days. By that time we felt like we were paying way too much to go three weeks without service. more
