I have been using Bob's for 2 yrs and never any trouble except 2008 when we had no pickup for 3 weeks due to Christmas and New Years, but still paid same amount. I got a letter today saying my check was returned for insufficient funds, which I knew was not possible. The statement Bob's sent even said their bank could not locate my account. I was told by my bank they never received this check, which I knew was true as it wasn't showing on my statement. I was told by Bob's that "I did not have enough money in the bank to cover it!" After further review of the statement Bob's sent, I discovered that Bob's had tried sending my check through the wrong routing number of my bank, as my check's routing number and what they tried did not match. I have immediately switched trash companies (even though I am having to wait another week for this to be officially resolved as Bob's accountant not in this week!). It's not the mistake they made as every does, it was the way I was belittled through more
