I went in this afternoon to see why my check engine light was on. Eric got my car in right away and explained everything very thoroughly and made it easy for me to understand. He even took the time to look around for a used part to save me money, as I'm kind of strapped for cash at the moment. Within hours, my vehicle was fixed, washed, and back on the road, for an extremely affordable price. I couldn't have had a more positive experience. Thank you Bobby & steve's, for employing such wonderful employees. more

Stopped in to get gas and lunch today. I was extremely surprised to find so many NICE young people working there. I don't know ehere they found so many well-mannered and customer-service oriented staff members but the rest of the service industry could take a few pointers from this station. more

You saved me today. Lately, my life has seemed out of control. Well, out of my control. My relationship with my husband had become a place of anger and frustration. The relationship with my family? Not much better. I got to work this morning and just sat in my car, crying. I was trying to decide whether or not to stay. Not leave and go home but to leave. Run away. Just go and not look back. \r \r I was early by 30 minutes so I decided to go to Bobby and Steve's, right near my job. When I pulled in, I felt as if the walls were crashing down, I couldn't think or react. I went inside and decided that I would get a breakfast sandwich. There weren’t any without bacon so I asked if one could be made without meat.... No problem, he said. As I stood there waiting, I looked down and on the counter were 4 copies of your Pegasus Newsletter. The Pegasus, although mythical, has always been a symbol of hope, beauty and magic to me. So I picked up one of the copies, gathered my food and left for my office.\r \r As I ate my sandwich, I took out your newsletter and started from the back...an odd habit of mine...lol.\r What I found and read, literally made me cry. Happy tears!!! 10 Ways to be a better Wife...an excerpt from ""Who Moved My Cheese"" (a book I have given to many people...I had forgotten), The Lies we Believe, How to be Happy in Life...Putting things in Perspective....\r I believe that all things happen for a reason....I believe that I was meant to be at Bobby and Steve's this morning to find your newsletter. I believe the universe was looking out for me, as always. I have read and re-read from cover to cover. \r \r So, I didn't run away. Instead, I called my Husband and told him that I knew everything was going to be okay...I told him how grateful I was for his love and support. That he IS my best friend and how loving me is his choice and how lucky I was. \r Thank you for reminding me that every day is a gift we are given, to start again every morning with a clean slate. It is a choice to be happy. I choose to be joyful, to never give up, be grateful for ALL of Life, to laugh and love, and to forgive. May God bless you. And thank you for the reminder of how precious our time is and not to waste one moment in regret. more

I just had my vehicle in to replace brake light/bulb. Just wanted to let everyone know that even on New Years Day, the France Ave location has exceptional staff working. They were very friendly and took care of my concerns asap. The location is very convenient and I even learned that they do pick-ups for nearby businesses so I will definitely be taking advantage of that for my next oil change, as I work right across the street. I just wanted to take a minute to give ""kudos"" to the staff at your Bloomington store. I called around 6:20 last night after going to my car after work and finding it wouldn't start. From the tow driver to the service desk person to the car wash person, they couldn't have been any friendlier! It was under two hours from the time I first called, to walking in my door at my house in Eden Prairie even after having a new battery installed!\r \r Customer service often leaves a lot to be desired these days, but your staff was great! An employee walking in from outside even held the door open for me on my way out! \r \r Anyway, you had a good crew working in Bloomington last night! I'm so glad I made the call to your business when my car wouldn't start. I'd never been there before, but I will definitely be back! more

I had a problem with a low tire while I was in Minneapolis over the weekend. I had a hard time finding someplace to get air in my tire. I called one of your stores and they gave me directions to the store on 494 and France. I just want to say your mechanic Tyler was very generous in coming out to give me a hand. I noticed this was a full service garage with real air hose outside. You don't see many ""gas stations"" like this anymore. I commend your company for renewing this service! Thank you! more

I received professional and prompt service regarding an emergency electrical/battery issue that was diagnosed and repaired very quickly. Last week, I had an issue with my Honda that needed some attention. Being relatively new in the area, I called a neighbor for a recommendation on where to go to have it checked out. They recommended Bobby and Steve's. We were not disappointed one bit with their recommendation. The problem was handled promptly after the part was received, the staff was exceptionally friendly, and the price was just right. In a world where good customer service seems the exception rather than the rule, I appreciate genuinely friendly service immensely. I came across an old note I wrote to myself, to call or write about the exceptionally great service I received back in July. I really appreciated the service I received from Austin, Stephen and a 3rd person whom I did not write on my note, but unfortunately, thought I would remember. The automobile service I have received has been great and comforting in these hard times. \r \r This day is exceptional as they all 3 gave me additional info on how to take care of my car and some preventative maintenance tips. The one thing I appreciate most is everything you guys have told me I needed for my car, I have actually needed. I did mention to one of the service writers that everyone always tells me you guys have higher prices than other places. Whichever guy it was gave a valid reply. He said he has heard people say that, but that our company would rather do it right the 1st time than have you keep coming back over and over again. Now I know how to reply :-). \r \r Tell the guys sorry for the long over-due letter. Thanks again for the care and concern you have done for my 2000 Jeep Cherokee. Please know that I have received great service at the Bloomington location for years. This past week, however, I received outstanding service that I simply had to share with you.\r \r I've been taking my car to the 494 and France location since I moved to Minnesota over 10 years ago. I've been so happy with the service that I receive there that I have recruited my fiance, sister, best friend and several of my clients as loyal Bobby and Steve's customers. Typically I prefer to work with Nate Anderson. He is always cheery, knowledgeable, understanding, kind and accommodating. Please be aware of what a valuable employee he is. However, every occasion where I have dealt with another employee at your Bloomington location I have continued to experience excellent customer service. There was the time I blew a tire on the way to work the Saturday morning before Christmas... I needed to be at the store that I manage to open it on a very profitable day. Your tow truck driver (I wish I could remember his name) came to me as fast as he could, hooked up my car, raced me to the Mall of America so that I could get there in time and then took my car back to the Bloomington location for repair. Another time my little sister was heading out of town for the holidays when we noticed one of her tires was almost flat. I followed her to the Bloomington location, where Nate was able to get tires onto her car very quickly so that she could get out of town before the big snowstorm hit. I can't even remember all of the times that the guys have come over to The Mall to pick me up when my car was done being serviced, or have tried to rush around to get parts so that I wouldn't have to go very long without a car. My fiance and I live in North Minneapolis but we never mind coming down to Bloomington for our mechanic needs. \r \r A few weeks ago my compressor and some kind of AC fan went out (sorry I'm not more detailed with the specifics of this situation; I rely on Nate to translate to me when it comes to car stuff) and Nate was able to get a used compressor to bring the price down... which I consider great advice since I was planning to sell the car soon. Unfortunately the replacement compressor broke again only a couple of weeks later. Nate was off getting married this weekend so when I brought the car in on Thursday I was working with either Eric or Dan. The company that had supplied the faulty compressor was willing to cover the cost of the replacement part but not the labor involved. I expressed my disappointment to either Eric or Dan (I think Eric) and he was able to speak to somebody and get the labor covered too. When I picked my car up the next day Dan was very accommodating and even remembered who I was before I introduced myself, even though I usually work with Nate. As a manager of a large and fast paced store, I can understand that accommodating one customer may seem like a small gesture. But doing right by the customer, however small the gesture is, can have a big impact. Situations like this are the reason that my fiance, my sister, my best friend, several of my clients and I regularly get their auto work done at Bobby and Steve's in Bloomington. Additionally, I work with the public just a few miles down 494... I send people who are from out of town to your location all of the time.\r \r As somebody who works for a company that prides itself on the customer experience, I know how valuable great employees are when it comes to running a successful business. The employees at Bobby and Steve's in Bloomington are by far some of the greatest providers of customer service I have ever met. Very special thanks to Nate (I should have written in years ago complimenting his excellence), Eric and Dan. These guys are fantastic, and I will happily spread the word about them. more

I want to express to you what Great Customer Service you gave to me and my daughter on the repair of her Jaguar! It was very much appreciated! You never know what to expect when it is two women asking for help from a service station. When my daughter got out of school last night, we came over at about 10:15pm. Hello! I just wanted to send you guys a big thanks for repairing my 2005 honda accord last night. Although it was a small task such as adjusting a nut on my upper control arm, it has been one of my biggest headaches and biggest weight off my shoulder. I have been dealing with this ""unknown"" pulling in my wheel for months and vibration that nobody seemed to be able to figure out, they all just assumed it was an alignment issue etc. I took it to your facility as a last ditch effort to get it figured out, and of course, you did what I thought you would do within minutes! Your shop is a little out of the way since i live in Eagan, but, I have had nothing but good luck from your facility and will now make you my repair shop of choice and go the extra distance... I think my mechanic was Mike but i'm not 100% sure. Thanks again for your knowledge and experienced mechanics! more

I've never had better service than at Bobby & Steve's in Edina. They are so thorough and detailed when it comes to simple tasks, like oil changes and tire rotations. One of their best services is picking up and dropping my car off at my work place. It's unbelievably convenient! Great place. more

Boby and Steve's auto world has gone new lows.. These folks are making good business in twin cities area for nearly 30 years i believe and individual owners had become wealthy. One of the old practice of trap and tow your vehicle for lucrative business in expanse of innocent victim. Boby and Steve of france ave is just that they are absolutely the new low life scrambling for the last shredded $. Park by the bulding next to cowboy jacks never been a problem for the building owner before but these low life's have gone to the building management and offer free tow should there anybody park there to entertained at CB jacks Boby Steve must have there share $$ by towing it cross the 494 and charging you $182 and City or State leting it happend. Shame on Bloomington/Edina City. I have they choke taking those who work very hard earn and when comes to weekend these guys are hiding behind the building to take your $$$.. Poor and very old business practice of scammer. This is 21st century and we have to live with dishonest folks right on the exit of France and 494.. more

Bobby and Steves ruined my car and refused to take responsibility for it. They over torqued my crank shaft bolt which broke and ruined my entire engine just slightly over one year later. Do not take your car to this over priced garage. more
