Best

Definitely a 5 star vet. Excellent service, and a very friendly staff. The facility is beautiful, up to date, and clean. Always an amazing experience for me and my puppy.

Overpriced and inefficient/ineffective 8/8/2011

Way out of line in pricing. Bluepearl charges $390 for individual cremation where my reg. vet charges $130 for better service that includes a choice of urns. Charged for medicine that I provided. All I hear is they are out for the money and they have proven it to me. They do not return calls or do follow up calls. Hard to make appointments since Drs. travel from clinic to clinic. They did not call to let me know my pet was losing ground further than what he already lost but did bill $500 above the original $200 written bill for a lost cause. Had to euthanize my pet to keep it from suffering. They just wanted to keep alive for the money. This is the second pet they soaked me for the money. Be ready for spending thousands. This is my experience with two pets taken to them. My total bill for one pet was over $6000 just to experience his suffering. Check Yahoo reviews. more

Can I give 1/2 star? 5/4/2010

Please do not take your doggie here! This place is a horrible waste of time and money. I brought my furry companion here as a last resort and we both got the short end of the stick. I had an appointment and it took hours to be seen, the staff misdiagnosed him and gave him the wrong type of medicine making him worse (his skin was peeling off!!!!!) The total damage out of my pocket was over a $1,000.00 and he was worse. I am so glad some friends referred me to another well known vet in Tampa who has done organ transplants and doesn't punish you for owning a pet. Thank you Dr. Jim Hugh's!!! Cons: Everything more

To clarify paying up front 6/30/2009

Every Emergency hospital treating pets require that a deposit is left for services to be performed. I do not know of any that do not require this. If you are admitted to a human ER, you can bet that they get all your insurance/ personal information prior to a Dr examining or performing anything on you. What people may not realize, is that a treatment plan is just what is offered to you. You have the final say as to what you can and cannot afford. It is ultimately YOUR responsibility. If you don't understand why/how etc., ASK! Ask until you are satisfied. Obviously there is a lot of room for misunderstanding and when anyone is in a sensitive state, things can be misunderstood. Just so everyone is clear, there are NO guarantees when it comes to emergency veterinary medicine. more

Horrible Dog Dermatologist!!! 3/27/2008

This person should not be practicing period! Dr. Znajda saw my animal companion for skin allergies, prescribed unnecessary medications and made his condition worse. I lost complete confidence in this individual and took my dog for another opinion elsewhere. The vet I took him to is a God Send!!!! Not only did he give my dog immediate relief but did his skin testing right away. Please save yourself time, energy, and do your research and become educated as much as possible before you choose to take your animal friend to a vet and/or specialist. DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!!!! Pros: Absolutely None Cons: The Service, Knowledge more

Dog Skin Allergist Beware!! Go Somewhere Else - Worst Service Ever!!! 3/27/2008

We took our sad & miserable dog in for skin allergies, we had to wait a few hours to be seen (even with an appointment). After the wait, the dermatologist briefly looked over the dog and said he has a classic case of pollen allergies, they prescribed a peroxide shampoo, conditioner, topical spray, 2 different antihistamines and the end result was, my dog was still completely miserable, his conditioned worsened using all topical products, his skin was peeling off, I was in contact with the staff continuously for a month, each gave a contradictional approach to the next, and unfortunately, this ""supposed vet specialist"" did not have answers, my dog desperately needed, so we talked to other dog owners and were referred to a wonderful local vet that gave our dog the immediate relief he needed, did the skin testing to see what exactly he's allergic to, told us the products we were asked to administer to the dog previously were wrong for his situation. If your dog has skin allergies, do not take them there, it's a waste of your time, money, & most importantly a waste of your dog's health! Cons: Service!!!!! more
