To clarify paying up front 6/30/2009

Every Emergency hospital treating pets require that a deposit is left for services to be performed. I do not know of any that do not require this. If you are admitted to a human ER, you can bet that they get all your insurance/ personal information prior to a Dr examining or performing anything on you. What people may not realize, is that a treatment plan is just what is offered to you. You have the final say as to what you can and cannot afford. It is ultimately YOUR responsibility. If you don't understand why/how etc., ASK! Ask until you are satisfied. Obviously there is a lot of room for misunderstanding and when anyone is in a sensitive state, things can be misunderstood. Just so everyone is clear, there are NO guarantees when it comes to emergency veterinary medicine. more
