I had a facial at the Dupont Circle location and it was by far the worst spa experience that I've ever had. So bad, in fact, that 10 minutes in I actually had to call the whole thing off. The clinician was understanding and didn't charge me for the treatment, but that absolutely didn't make up for the overall horror of the "spa". Maybe Georgetown is better, but I would definitely not recommend this place to a friend. Or enemy. more

Not so great on the spa services 6/30/2006

I have found the products to be good but the spa services awful - they almost blinded me with a horrible eye lash tint and then when I said no to adding a tip because it had been that bad (and I never not tip) they were really really rude to me! more

Blue Mercury is the best beauty products store in DC bar none. They carry exclusive products such as Diptyque and Creed that you could only before find in high-end department stores such as Neimans and Saks. You can always find the newest products featured in Allure here. They have an amazing annual event where they discount your purchases and have a lot of company reps on hand to give you free samples and gifts with purchase. They carry Trish McEvoy and a lot of great makeup brands and they often have company reps come to the store throughout the year to give makeovers. This is a very special store. more
