roof top is insane. lobster omelets all the way around. we found this place online and im glad we did. great breakfast spot. some stuff was pricey but the food was original and aw...

The atmosphere is nice. The food is expensive and the portions are small. The bar area is fun. I prefer ""7 Fish"".

I live in Key West and I have to say that Blue Heaven is one of my favorite places to take visitors. Only never during meal rushes...they tend to have young staff who are usually working their 3rd job. The food is always great...we love the swing and the fun things to do around the restaruant. The chickens are little uncomforting at first, but you grow to like them. There is nowhere else like it...don't miss it! You have to look for the Blue Heaven, but it really, really is worth it. Everything is a 10 and it is a fun place to boot. Pros: Great Food!, Great Atmosphere!, Lot's of Shade! Cons: A little outa the way more

went there 2 years and maybe it deserved the rating then but we had a poor experience there. the service was xcruciatingly slow. two hours to bring grilled cheese and pasta for the kids. you can imagine how that makes the kids react. the waiter just disappeared for prolonged periods. no help. no checking up. we wanted to quickly eat and leave to no avail. and so did the many customers waiting for our table. and the waiter to top it off asked us if we could move along for other customers. they don't take resevations so if you decide to eat there and get out of your $15 cab ride, you may have to wait a very long time. there are lots of great restaurants in key west. this one happens to get the press so people line up like cattle for it. see my review of cafe sole Pros: funky dirt floor Cons: bad experience, poor service, SLOWWWWWW more

i absolutely love blue heaven! every time i'm in the keys, i make sure to go to blue heaven and have the bananas heaven, not to mention the jerk chicken. the service is always great, as is the food. i can't imagine a better way to eat than out in the breeze, with cats and chickens strolling by... more

Blue Heaven is a most for any couple or group that goes to Key West. Great food, Great Service!!! A all around wonderful time. They had the best deserts on the island if you are tired of Key Lime Pie. The outdoor setting makes for a fun time. more

BLUE HEAVEN IS UPSCALE DINING IN A COOKOUT ATMOSPHERE. THE KEY IS CREATIVITY WITH CONSISTENCY.THE SERVICE IS FREINDLY AND FUN AND THE FOOD IS AS GOOD AS YOU CAN FIND ANYWHERE. THE YELLOW TAIL IN CITRUS BURRE BLANC IS EXCEPTIONAL AND IN FACT MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO CHOOSE ANY OTHER ENTREE.PRICES ARE NOT OUT OF LINE FOR THE MEAL YOU'LL ENJOY. We go for breakfast every time we visit Key West. The eggs benedict are great as are the pancakes. We also love the atmosphere. Dining under the sail outside is fun too! Highly recommended. more

  • On Sept. 19, 1992, Blue Heaven Restaurant cooked and served black beans, rice and fish to its first lunch customers on painted picnic tables under a tropical almond tree in its outdoor dining area in Florida. The outdoor courtyard is paved with the slate pool table tops from the days the downstairs of the building operated as a billiard hall and ice cream parlor. A dance hall, a bordello and a playhouse have occupied the second floor of the restaurant s location. Breakfast items include pancakes, seafood and lobster benedict, granola, omelettes, fruit cups and a la carte items. Lunch items include soups, salads, sandwiches, fish, tortillas, vegetable plates, cheese steak and desserts. Dinner items include a variety of appetizers, shrimp, chicken dinners, pork tenderloin, New York strip steak, tuna, dolphin, beef tenderloin and desserts. The restaurant also has catering and banquet menus available. Blue Heaven Restaurant is located in Key West, Fla.. Restaurants,Breakfast,Lunch,Dinner,Sunday Brunch.
