went there 2 years and maybe it deserved the rating then but we had a poor experience there.
the service was xcruciatingly slow. two hours to bring grilled cheese and pasta for the kids. you can imagine how that makes the kids react. the waiter just disappeared for prolonged periods. no help. no checking up. we wanted to quickly eat and leave to no avail. and so did the many customers waiting for our table. and the waiter to top it off asked us if we could move along for other customers.
they don't take resevations so if you decide to eat there and get out of your $15 cab ride, you may have to wait a very long time. there are lots of great restaurants in key west. this one happens to get the press so people line up like cattle for it.
