The Sushi is good and a couple of their sushi chefs are remarkable. The rest of the menu is way over priced. The service is poor at best. Ken's is still the best sushi in town....

Blue Fin is a special place! But keep it secret! 2/9/2009

Great service, friendly atmosphere, amazing menu. We are now regulars at Blue Fin. When we go there, we feel at home and comfortable. The variety on the menu is truly modern yet comfort food at the same time. Where can you have delicious lamb chops, sushi, risotto and great salads at one place IN A SUSHI RESTAURANT? The sushi chef is really fantastic and makes rolls to order however you want. I do miss the old location, though. However, the recently moved restaurant location on Madera/Royal is newly built and it feels fresh and clean. Five stars!!! more

ONE WORD, AMAZING. This is truly the best kept secret in Simi Valley. Excellent food, great service, and the ambiance is just exceptional! Go early because this place gets full real quick. For desert please try the ?apple puffs? don?t ask, just eat. more

DO NOT EAT AT BLUEFIN IN SIMI VALLEY!! 8/29/2007

IF YOU WANT TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE THEN EAT AT BLUEFIN IN SIMI VALLEY. MY HUSBAND AND I RECEIVED A GIFT CARD TO BLUEFIN FOR X-MAS AND WERE THEN UNABLE TO REDEEM IT. THE FIRST TIME WE TRIED THEY SAID THE MANAGER WASN'T THERE AND HE WAS THE ONLY ONE WHO COULD TENDER THE CARD. THE SECOND TIME WE CALLED FIRST AND THEY SAID IT WAS UNDER NEW MGMT. AND THE GIFT CARD COULD NOT BE REDEEMED. THE MANAGER WAS EXTREMELY RUDE ON THE PHONE AND STARTED THROWING ""F"" BOMBS. TOTALLY UNPROFRESSIONAL AND WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING THERE, IF YOU WANT GOOD SUSHI GO TO ""02"" NEAR MACARONI GRILL!!!!!!!!!! more

Amazing sushi 4/23/2005

I highly suggest everyone to try it!!!!!! Amazing!!!! The best sushi I have ever had. Thier rolls are the best! Portions are large and very generous. Many different rolls to chose from. If you have friends that dont like sushi, there is other types of food that will accomodate the non sushi goers. Not like most predictable sushi resturants. Best I've eer had!!
