This is the most incredible salon and experience ever! I just left Blondie's, where Gina gave me a ""caviar"" treatment and I can't believe it!! I can't stop touching my hair, which I must say was totally dehydrated, brittle and dull, before I entered! Now, it is brighter, luminous and supple! They are truly experts who really care about the integrity of your hair, which makes the cut, color and your life better! Another bonus - the atmosphere will make your day. I've never posted a review as with my age I am still mastering the internet, but wanted to voice my opinion. I struggled for years to find someone who could master my thick curly hair. I was referred to Amy over 5 years ago and have been going to her ever since. She even did an amazing job with my daughters wedding updo. I referred all my friends and coworkers to see her. I recently noticed a posting on Facebook that Kristen Herlander was going to be joining Blondies. Myself and my good friend saw Kristen in the past for injections and were both taken advantage of. I started noticing my injection charge going up and up and could no longer afford it. Once I started going somewhere else I decided to do my research and called the spa Kristen used to work at and got my file sent to my new injector. I couldn't believe what I had found. I was getting the same amount of injections each time, but being way over charged by her. This same situation happened to my dear friend. I am sad to say I will no longer be booking with Amy and going to Blondies. Be aware if you book with Kristen unless you have plenty of money to waste in your bank account. more

Gina has been my stylist for over 10 years. She's amazing with her cuts & color. I have also gone to Tara & Peggy. They too have ""the touch"". I really enjoy the friendliness of everyone at the salon. They truly go above & beyond to accomodate clients. The parking has to be the best in Cherry Creek. more

I can't believe there are any negative reviews about Blondies! I love the atmosphere, the price, the service and most of all my hair! My color and cut both last twice as long (12 weeks instead of 6) as anywhere else I've been. As a busy professional, I love that I can look fabulous with only 4 visits a year. Gina is phenomenal and everyone at Blondies is fun and positive. I've been to Luxe, Bang and many others and none can hold a candle to Blondies. more

When you end up with the color you didn't ask for be prepared the salon won't be very excited to fix it, when they do, be prepared to pay for it, and be aware they will make a total ass of you in the end telling you your natural hair color is completely something different than you know it is more

Blondies is an incredible Salon. The staff is wonderfully attentive with out being overbearing. They are stylish, yet approachable, not always a combination that is easily found. Gina is an unmatched talent. Her cuts and color are fantastic. When my job allows it, I am adventurous with my hair. Since 1996 I have had a wonderful array of styles and color. I also have several friends who see her who are a bit less adventurous and they always lovely sophisticated hair styles. I have read the reviews others have posted and I have to say their experience is completely contrary to mine and any that has been reported to me. I have only experienced professional, warm and courteous behavior from the owners and staff at Blondies. more

I went in for just a simple color. The stylist was rude and totally dried out my hair. I found the stylist to be in a hurry and I'm so unhappy with the color. Luck for me, color never lasts very long in my hair so this will wash out soon. But I won't be going to Blondies again. If a salon can't do good color, then a salon can't do anything. I have been going to this place for a year. I finally decided to update my highlights, going for a carmel blond color, partial highlights. I came out with copper red highlights. There was NO PATTERN to these highlights. They were all over the place, a sloppy MESS. The highlights didn't even match any kind of a pattern. I had one very obvious highlight above my left ear and nothing to match on the other side. Chunky tacky highlights was not the look I was going for. And I know the appointment was doubled booked because she was bouncing between me and another client (a first timer at the salon) and me (a frequent client). I was there for three hours for partial highlights. I had two different stylists at different salons look at it and both said the same thing, bad color (she didn't lighten it enough) and no pattern. And the 'owners' (good luck every running a REAL business, fools) refused to refund me my money. I wasn't even asking for a full refund (also had a haircut, which she cut off well over an inch when that's all I asked for) stating that I needed to give them a chance to fix it and they ""don't know what to tell me."" What a bunch of idiots, like I'm going to let you get anywhere near my hair again, give me a break. Also, if you valued a client and word of mouth you'd have the brains to keep the client happy. But now, you have lost my business (I came in several times a month) and ANY future business. Also, I will be sure to tell EVERYONE I know about your poor business and sloppy hairstylists. A sloppy salon like this won't be around for long. Customer complaints are valued by the community, if not by this salon's owners. Pros: NOTHING more

I decided to check out this salon since it is very close to my new house. When I walked in I was impressed by the atmosphere. It seemed fun and hip, exactly what I was looking for. I went in not knowing what kind of cut I wanted, only knowing that I wanted a change. My stylist made a suggestion of what she thought worked with my face shape and I was all for it. However that is where the conversation ended. She made no small talk AT ALL throughout my entire cut. She spoke a bit to the other stylists around her, but never to me. Watching the other stylists around me have fun with their clients made me a bit jealous. I tried to spark some conversation but it didn't really break the silence at all. I have never before had a silent haircut, even when I was young and went to strip-mall chain salons they talked to their clients while working with them. My friends and I all get our hair cut and/or colored at least every six weeks and have tried salons all over Denver. Many of us have gone to Blondies and we have received completely inconsistent results and service. Some times it is ""great"" while other times leaves a lot to be desired. Two recent examples stick out in my mind: 1. My friend had to go back and get her hair re-colored three times because her stylist turned her hair bright red instead of chestnut. She needed to go another time, but couldn't because her they told her her hair would fall out. 2. They stood my friend up for a style the DAY OF HER WEDDING! Her stylist informed her she ""had gotten too far behind"" in her schedule and therefore was not going to have time that day to give her a blowout. On her wedding day. Enough said. I will never go back. Pros: Prices and location Cons: You never know what you are going to get, which is scary more

First, I found the parking was much easier to park than other salons in Cherry Creek. I had experienced a really good cut previously, but this time I got my color done. It was amazing. They used at least 5 to 6 colors. My previous hairdresser used only 2 to 3. Then after a great cut and a serious blowdry, they made me look so good. Gina told me she had wonderful base material to work with. She also told me that my blowdry could hold out for about 4 days, and wow it did! They also sent me away with some great Kerastase products that have been great for my hair. Love my new hair! Pros: Service, Parking, Great Music more

First visit saw a ""junior stylist"" who was just starting out. She was young, slow and easily distracted by who ever was coming in the front door. Style and color both good. Not sure really charged ""js"" price though. Continued to see her for about another year. Referred two other clients. Price continued to climb without any warning. Price was never consistant for the exact same service-not sure when she thinks she became ""senior stylist"". Would use multiple colors in hair but never ask or inform first, only to find out bill was around $300 including tip. Always had a problem with water at wash station (where they stylists love to gossip about other stylists while washing your hair) temperature would either be really hot or cold every appt. Parking is limited as well. This salon has potential, but forgets what role the customer plays...They seem too consumed with what magazine or television show they can be on next. Get over yourself. Blondies is the best salon I have ever been to. Being a guy it is hard to admit to going to a girly salon but I had by far the most amazing cut ever. For one I was not the only dude in the place seems like lots of guys had the same idea the day I went. The shampoo was relaxing and the stylist gave me some great ideas for a new haircut. I went with her suggestions and was so happy to get what I wanted. I have been to them all super cuts, Floyd's, you name it and none even compare to Blondies. Thanks! I will most definately be back. I've gone into Blondies for a cut and color several times over the past eighteen months, never really being all that pleased with the results. Color was decent, but the cut lacked style, split-ends remained and when I got the bill, almost always 15 - 20% higher than I was quoted. Cons: Price for value more

I had another great experience at Blondies! My second time now at Blondies and it was even better than the last if that is possible. I got highlights this time and I love them. My stylist must have used at least 5 different colors and then gave me the most amazing deep conditioning treatment. My hair is so shiny and I keep getting comments from total strangers asking who does my hair. Thank you Blondies for making me look so great! I was expecting great things from Blondies after seeing on their website that they had been written about in InStyle magazine. When I first arrived the front desk people openly ignored me and I had to wait forever to check in. My stylist was really nice and did a good job with my highlights, but when she cut my hair she cut the layers on one side of my head MUCH, much shorter than the layers on the other side. Not only did she cut them shorter, she cut too much hair for the layer so I have a chunk cut out on the one side. It'll take me a while to grow the one side back out to match the other side. Also, the salon was SO HOT!!! I mentioned it to the stylist and she said that their air conditioner doesn't really work. I also heard another woman getting her hair done mention the heat and her stylist said that it had been even hotter the week before! more
