I had an excellent experience with Blind Shack from the beginning to the end! They were very professional, showed up on time and completed the process as promised. Chris did a great job of helping us through the entire process. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them to others! more

BEWARE. Is Chris still in business? He is a lousy excuse for a business owner and the quality of his work and product is CRAP! Any positive review on here had to of been written by him. He did not measure correctly the first time he came out, made numerous appointments to come back out and no showed! When he finally did show up he still measured wrong because when the vertiglides came in they still didn't fit right. The installers were ALWAYS late by late I mean HOURS late! They drilled holes where they shouldn't have. They cut my brand new baseboards to make their crap of a product fit and it still doesn't fit right. We have contacted Chris multiple times over the past year to have the blinds fixed and of course....no response! So....we are stuck with awful quality in our beautiful home. Thank God we only used him for our back sliders (which still cost $2000) and didn't use him for our plantation shutters!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM IN ANY WAY!!!!!!!!! more

BP must be inhaling gas fumes. Tried them-Loved them. My wife and I have lived here for 30 years. We are extremely demanding of companies working on our home. We will refer them to our children, who just bought a new home. more

WARNING!! When you are shopping for blinds and come across Blind Shack, keep shopping at all cost. Chris will do everything in his power to mess up your order. He is not a man of his word. He was contracted to hang 10 blinds and couldn't even measure them right. The workers threw the old blinds down the garbage chute clogging it up and made a mess, needless to say the other tenants were not happy. Chris did everything to avoid making things right. I guess by him lying and the numerous times that he told me he was on his way over, that I would just forget about the problem. Even the credit card people could not believe the texts, I had to show them how many time he said he would be over and how many times he lied. The installers put the shades up uneven, the draw strings in the wrong place. To sum it up, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY-- NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS! more

Don't use Blind Shack unless you live in a SHACK!!!! They built or shutters on wrong size frame so they do not open or close properly and hit the window !!! Also dings and cracks in shutters ... We were promised to have new frames installed and 5 months later we are still waiting ... Chris no longer returns phone calls !! Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere !!!!!! Do not use them you will be sorry !!! more

First of all I was very apprehensive about writing this review since it's negative and might affect Chris' business and I have to say I love my plantation shutters he installed a few years back but Would NEVER do business with Chris again! HE HAS NO INTEGRITY AT ALL...he lost total credibility with me...Extremely dissatisfied after I was told that I had a lifetime warranty on my plantation shutters. One of them came off the tracks and was told he would replace the track, being as persistent as I am, I probably called Chris (no exaggeration 100+ times) since about January of 2013 to resolve this issue since I do have a ""lifetime warrantly"" It is now April 2013...He's either promised me he'll come out and fix or have someone come and do it. HORRIBLE to promise SOMETHING to someone and then to just avoid them is totally unprofessional AND unacceptable!\r All the good reviews on here were probably either written by him or someone else since they are all positive and all written in lower casing. So don't believe the HYPE!\r \r I wouldn't care if you didn't have a lifetime warranty but don't promise it...if you can't guarantee it and now I have to hunt you down like a hound dog. more

I was guaranteed a lifetime warranty on the blinds that I purchased from The Blind Shack. I needed one of the blinds fixed, so I called & was told they were going to come on given day at given time. They never showed nor called! Now the owner will not answer the phone nor will he call us back. Horrible businessman! Wish I would have never gone with his company. You get duped into buying blinds from this company because they offer a lifetime warranty, but it's pointless because they don't honor it. Buyer beware! more
