If you want to try food from a fine dining restaurant without the snooty atmosphere and high prices, Bistro 31 is for you. There are white tablecloths and service similar to that, however the atmosphere is light and relaxed. The food for dinner is excellent and the items varied, the pepper steaks, which they flambe tableside are a treat and the chocolate cake is a decadent, albeit a tad rich treat (just order some coffee with it). the service from the students is great considering most of them have no serving experience and they do try hard. there is also no corkage fee which is great. I'd recommend calling ahead and making sure they're open for dinner, and the dinner isn't a constant like the lunch is, and also making reservations, as the dinner service gets booked up as people find out about it. The information section is also wrong, they're only open Mondays - Wednesdays.
