I would have thought the biscuits would be ... good. I think this growing chain is suffering growing pains. When there were just one or two locations, the one near me was really good. The food was great, and the biscuits were really good. Now, the location near me is no more, and I went to another location. The food was okay (nothing like it used to be), but the biscuits had the flavor and texture of something that came out of a cardboard can. I wouldn't be surprised to learn that they are no longer made in-house. A huge disappointment to see this formerly-good breakfast place succumb to mediocrity. more

Ehh 2/16/2009

I visited Biscuits this morning after hearing great reviews. The first issue that presented itself was the fact that Biscuits does not take names at the door. This places the burden on the customer to fairly state whether they arrived before or after another patron.....not good.....we were offered seats at the communal table, even though there were 4 other tables available....? We then asked to be moved to another table. The service was slow and the staff seemed disoraganized as they went about their tasks. I ordered the Eggs Benedict and did not enjoy it at all. The red potatoes were almost raw with no seasoning and the eggs were lathered in hollandaise sauce, the slice of ham was huge and the plate messy. I was very dissappointed. When we paid the hostess asked how our food was. I said it was OKAY, there was no further questioning. Pros: Convenient location, good sized portions Cons: Disorganized service, subpar food. more

Great for hangovers, always get seated promptly, always great service. 1/6/2009

The food is not amazing, but you just can't beat a 3 egg omelet stuffed with sausage, potatoes, onions and peppers, with a biscuit for 9 bucks. I timed how long it took them to get me my food in a dining room that was literally packed, and it only took 7 minutes.Their Food is not pretentious, just something that tastes good and fills you up for a low price. Excellent business, I will be surprised if it doesn't spread quickly. I bought breakfast for 3 people and only paid 28 bucks. We all got coffee, juice, and had plenty of leftovers. Oh and finally a place that will put a fried egg and ham on my burger. There is a reason every guy i ever worked with who was from a South American country gets their hamburgers that way. I know the difference between fine dining, and your everyday place, this is a gem in the everyday place category. Good breakfast restaurant 1/1/2008

Biscuits features nice omelets and scrambles dishes, along with standard breakfast fare. Seating and atmosphere is plain and ordinary (tables with chairs are consolidated in one room with no dividers or booths). Prices are average ($9 for an omelet and $2 for coffee). Food is made quickly and beverage refills are forthcoming. Pros: Good comfort breakfast food, reasonable prices Cons: Cafeteria ambience, lack of healthy food choices more

Slow and steady feeds your face 11/23/2007

Sometimes you just don't care about calories or carbs, you just want some hot fresh comfort food for breakfast. For those days, Biscuits is the place. They also have lunch and giant chocolate chip cookies for dessert. Make sure you have someone to share the cookie with because it will be enormous. Pros: It's always good. Cons: It's super popular on weekends, be prepared for a wait. more

Best Breakfast food!!! 2/24/2007

Great food, big portions for a great price, and very friendly staff. A must try!!! This is one of the first times I've ever had an entire breakfast come back with everything exactly as i ordered and not a single thing tasted bad or old. Even the coffee was perfect, not too strong but not too weak. The environment is very comfortable and the seating is very spacious no bumping into others or their tables. Pros: Everything was great. Cons: Can't think of any. more
