We have done this before and it's a nice time. We couldn't eat outside a couple of weeks ago because it was too chilly. Meanwhile, the inside was perfectly nice, as well. It was a good time, good food, and good service at Billy's. Yes, the dinner was a bit pricey, but so are stone crabs.\r more

My suggestion if you have never been is go during the day or at sunset when it is pleasant out and sit at one of the tables on the dock outside and get some crabs.\r more

We ate at Billy's a couple of weeks ago in the middle of May and had come in on the late side around 9--which may explain why we certainly had no wait. We ordered crabs and cold slaw and French fries. All were tasty.\r more

They seemed so amazing I did not feel the urge to meet them in person again. The day before the event my boss came to my office and asked me all sort of questions, if everything was ready, if this and that. By the time he left I was very nervous. This year they decided to do it half afternoon which meant we would be stuck there until dinner! I was pretty desperate searching for the perfect place when my friend Suzanne suggested Billy's Stone Crab at the Waterfront. I went over to check it out and loved it. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I told them what I had to accomplish and they showed me were they would set us up, we went over a special menu for the event and they even suggested some entertainment ideas!.\r more

Preparing an office event is never easy. You have to choose a place that's affordable, that can be adapted to what you need which basically consists of independence, good food, enough space, good location and the chance to survive through all the speeches without taking the risk of being booed by the rest of the customers. Superb place to eat and lovely atmosphere. I recently enjoyed dining and drinks with my fiancée at Billy's in Hollywood, Fl. We had no idea what to expect...but we were very pleased with our meal and service. The servers were extremely helpful and courteous. The atmosphere was classic. I read another review where they talked about the servers wearing tuxedos, there is nothing wrong with dressing nice and treating your customers like they are the most important people in the restaurant. I wish more restaurants had the class and character that Billy's represented. The food was great! When was the last time you enjoyed cheap fresh seafood...if you’re looking for cheap seafood go to red lobster or the boardwalk on Hollywood beach. I will definitely be returning to Billy's Stone Crab in the future.\r more

This place is seriously AS GOOD AS IT GETS! I went to Billy's with a friend and I tried EVERYTHING. The bill was expensive but well worth it. I love the atmosphere and the service is amazing. I will be going back as often as possible since I live across the street.\r more

Excellent - FRESH FOOD, portions are huge and perfectly prepared, the menu has a wide variety of alternatives and every dish makes your jaw drop! GREAT SERVICE, waiters are extremely helpful and friendly. The ideal place to go with the boys and eat until nothing else can fit in and it is the perfect place to surprise your girl with a romantic dinner and incredible sunset views. I’m sorry but Billy's is one of the BEST seafood restaurants anywhere, fresh and the Stone crabs are to die for...I’ve been coming since probably the first year or 2 since they opened, they are expensive for the crabs but well worth the price, the other sea food selections are average priced for a good place...I love Billy's and go all the time, I wait for the season to get the all you can eat Stonies, yummy can’t wait to go again, and will very soon now that they are in season again...Try it you'll love it... more

The service and atmosphere is upscale. The price for two with a glass of wine each will probably be around $100 more or less and certainly worth every penny and perhaps more. Lunch prices are less. There is no rigid Dress Code. It is a Florida Beach Community, but don't embarrass yourself or your date.\r more

The tropical breeze, the excellent food, the wine and the professional waiters made for another romantic evening. We followed dinner with a slow ride up A1A to Pompano Beach in the Corvette with the Convertible top down for the end to wonderful evening. We are sure to return there again. We regularly stay in Pompano Beach.\r more
