Pricey but one of my favorites in Hollywood, Always fresh, services & food are excellent as it Must...\r as we stayed at Villa Sinclair, Billy's was recommended by our Host, Hughes...We really had a wonderful Valentine's Dinner there, the wine menu is impressive & the Place is Perfect for a Lovely date with your significant other...\r \r \r Cons: Final bill was really stifted...<$300 for 2... Glad we had a Kitchen in our Beach suite to save the rest of the week....\r But Life is short,\r Money will be long forgotten,\r But the Wonderful Memories of a Perfect Valentine at Billy's & Villa Sinclair are for ever...\r We Love Hollywood Beach...\r \r more

I went with high expectations, knowing prices were high but less than Joe's Stone Crab, the service and quality were below average. The waitress was nice but a bit unprofessional, almost forgot to open the wine bottle and kept reaching over me, while I was still eating to clear the table! Had I not been chewing she would have taken the fries, too! The prices are higher than you'd expect and overall the meal isn't that great. You're better off going to Eat At Joe's Crab Shack.. More bang for your buck! more

My girlfriend and I decided to try Billy's stone crab. We are visiting from New York. At first the place looked old and out of date. What the decor lacked, the service and food made up for it. First, our server, who's name is Lorne, was one of the best servers I ever had wait on us before. He knew exactly what we needed before even asking. He recommended the large stone crabs, which were out of this world. We also had some amazing side dishes.... Lyonnaise potatoes and garlic creamed spinach. The view by the water is worth it's weight in gold. I definitely would recommend this place to friends and family. more

3.5/5 Stars\r \r This place was good, but not good enough to be as expensive as it is. I had some of their chowder (very very good - and reasonably priced) and the stone crabs (good, but very expensive). Service was good, but mediocre for a fine dining establishment. I'd be happy to eat here again if friends wanted to go, but it is not a place I would ever suggest we go. more

This restaurant is a good place. The food portions are a good in both size and taste.\r \r The staff is friendly and helpful and it is a good location on the water way. \r \r I had a fried combination platter, and while the fish was a bit bland, the crispness was fine and the sides were excellent.\r \r I also had the fried Gator tail. Which is the best Gator I have eaten to date.\r \r A nice place, just be careful with some of the folks who ride by in their boats who are very "expressive."\r \r Worth stopping by for a visit. more

I'm rarely inspired to write a restaurant review but that's just how bad my meal was. I haven't had food this bad in a long while. Insanely expensive gets you large portions of bland poorly cooked food. Service was mediocre. I couldn't get a water refill after an hour waiting. more
