WORST MANAGEMENT COMPANY! if youre looking to rent any property, walk away when you see this name. these are the biggest idiots you will ever deal with. they dont care what condition the property is in, the wont bother fixing anything broken or damaged, BUT they will charge you all kinds of fees for being late on your rent for even one day. if youre late on your rent and you contact them to report something broken, the FIRST thing they will say is ""well, your rent is late"". more

Property owners should definitely avoid this mis-management company unless you are desperate. Unfortunately I have been dealing with them for about ten years because of the Hawaii law that requires a manager to be local where the property is located. I finally moved to Hawaii from the mainland so I will be dumping this outfit as soon as the current rental lease expires and managing my property myself. WHY? Very poor communication. They frequently fail to return emails and phone calls. Some of the items furnished with the property disappeared over time. No accountability. Their favorite line: we will check into that and get back to you (but they never do). Don't believe anything on their web site about how they manage property better. more

They put 50 postings a day on craigslist and charge $20 before they show a place. This is a SCAM! Email the Better Business Bureau BBB to give this company and accurate rating! more

Too strange.... 5/13/2011

Wow, I was surprised to log on here and see the terrible reviews this company got. I thought I was the only one with such an incredible experience from them! I saw a listing for an apartment on craigslist and called their company to schedule a viewing. They told me there was none scheduled at the moment but to leave my name and phone number and someone would get back to me. I did and heard nothing for a while....then, I was looking at Craigslist again and saw two viewings scheduled for that apartment, one in 15 minutes (it was a Wednesday) and the other that Friday at 1:30 p.m. I thought of rushing to see it that day, but there was no time... So I arranged my schedule to go see it that Friday, though I was a little unhappy that they never called to let me know like they said they would. Oh well, mistakes happen... Then just today I looked over the listing again to verify the date, time, and location. I went there, found a meter street parking, and waited in front of the apartment. The listing said to be sure to be there on time, so I arrived earlier just to be sure. There was not a single person around. After waiting a bit, walking around the building, and re-checking the listing, I gave them a call. The lady who answered said she would call the manager of the building for me. After a while she told me the viewing was at 12:45. I was a bit shocked and told her the posting said 1:30.... Without a beat, she said, ""No, it says 12:45."" Umm... I had it right there in front of me on my iphone. I know i can read. I also mentioned that I had left my name and number before and had received no response from them. With no hint of an apology and totally ignoring the fact that they had been incredibly unprofessional, she asked for my name and contact info again. No, thank you, I'm not going to ever do business with that company.... By the way, I checked the posting again when I got home, and they changed it to the correct 12:45 time. Too late. And I still have the original posting on the screen of my iphone. ""Friday at 1:30 p.m....."" Right. more

REALLY DISAPPOINTED 6/29/2010

I rented from this company about 20 years ago and had a wonderful experience. But now as a homeowner, their property management sucks. Unresponsive, defensive, don't do their inspections as stated and now I am out a portable AC, curtains and had to replace at my own cost a wall AC because the property manager (Aloha-well there is no Aloha in her) did not do her due diligence and inspect everything or inventory before she let the new tenant move in. When I tried to approach her via email about these issues she became defensive and told me she didn't know where my curtains were, didn't know about the portable AC, thought it belonged to the tenant and stated she didn't have an inventory list, which I had faxed to her. She also always had to have the last word and was very unprofessional and nasty in her email correspondence. I finally had to tell her to stop contacting me and also had to have a relative call and tell the new property manager to have her cease and desist from communicating with me. I wrote to Bill Ramsey and stated my concerns but never received any feedback. I am going to give the new property manager a chance to prove herself and if not will be moving on to some one else. more

WORST PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!! do not rent from them! 6/8/2010

Very rude from the beginning. They dont return phone calls because they are skechy and know they are doing something against the law. They are going to charge you for EVERY LITTLE THING for your security deposit refund, so if you do rent from them TAKE PICTURES! even then, they will charge you 500 minimum for repairs and cleaning fees even though you've cleaned thoroughly. BEWARE!!!! They will also charge you for appliances that break but are 100 years old and will blame it on you. You WILL pay for everything so dont even think about renting from them. TRUST ME!! Pros: NOTHING, i cant believe i have to give them a star Cons: no customer service, rude, they charge you for EVERYTHING more

Unresponsive and Unprofessional 7/2/2008

I recently had the displeasure of doing business with Bill Ramsey Inc to help a friend of mine apply for one of their rental units. The application process seemed pretty standard, no qualms there. The problem I had was when trying to get status on the application. For 3 straight days the receptionist would ask for my number and promise to call me back. Never happened. They were grew progressively terse and ruder each time. Pros: Fairly standard application process Cons: Poor customer service more
