I recently visited Big Pink for lunch and experience the worst customer service ever. We arrived and were promptly seated by the host but once seated, we waited 10 minutes and sti...

Just terrible. Had breakfast one morning and the French toast was so dry that it could have passed for biscotti. About 1/2 of my breakfast potatoes were uncoooked inside. We gave them another chance because they were close and had decent reviews. Two nights later, they took an hour to get us a take out order (2 sandwiches and 2 salads). We got home to discover we were missing a sandwich. Manager ended up being rude about it. So bad. more

Eggs and Briosche French Toast were very good and the coffee was great. Good service; much better than many other choices on South Beach more

Overrated. The tuna itself was pretty good. Everything else was bland, confused and pretty expensive for the quality. more

I used to live two blocks away from Big Pink. It was a regular joint for us. I highly recommend the sushi-grade tuna sandwich with wasabi mayo and sweet soy glaze. Ever-changing TV dinners are cool too. And, of course, sweet potato fries! more

Great location & friendly staff 10/22/2008

Great diner in the South of Fifth neighborhood. Good food and a fun atmosphere. It's a little crowded inside, but it's always easy to get a table. more

Amazing food mixed with a fun atmopshere. 6/29/2008

The Big Pink is a great place to dine in South Beach. It's perfect for families, teens and the older crowd. The food was AMAZING. Literally. The price and portion were definitely right, too! Pros: Great food, reasonable prices, big portions, fun atmopshere (decor, music, tv), friendly service, AMERICAN STAFF!. Cons: Tables are pretty close. more

Great food!! 9/8/2007

Don't listen to the negative reviews!! The food was amazing and only made better by the excellent and attentive service. The prices are good for Miami Beach and you get enough food to take home and eat for days. There's a great atmosphere and even a gift shop to buy Big Pink tees! This restaurant is definitely worth the trip!!\r \r Pros: Food, service, quiet location\r Cons: None more

waste of time 8/25/2007

More like the BIG STINK! 8/8/2007

We went here after reading reviews on City Search, because it sounded like a great place. Unfortunately, it was the opposite.\r \r We were seated outside, and waited for over 30 minutes before a waiter asked for our drink order. To top it off, my husband had to track the waiter down. We wonder how long we would have waited if we didn't go looking for him.\r \r Drinks came after another 20 minutes, but were brought by someone else, not our waiter. So, we weren't able to place our order. When he finally did show up to take our food order, he was rude, showed no knowledge of the menu, and seemed like he was stoned.\r \r While waiting for our food, I fell asleep and had to be awaken by my husband. We would have normally just left, but it was 5am, and we were starving, and not in the mood to go looking for another place that was open.\r \r When food finally came, it was HORRIBLE! \r \r Warning: DO NOT GO TO THE BIG PINK!!\r \r Travelers tip: Visit CJ'S CRAB SHACK on Ocean Drive. It's in the 1300 block and incredible. The service was warm, friendly and inviting. The food was out-of-this-world! Try the crab dip, crab legs and especially the hush puppies! The owners could give lessons to the people at The Big ""Stink"". Pros: Absolutely none. Cons: Too many to mention. more

Great food! 7/29/2007

Great food, fun atmosphere. Our food was so yummy, that we came back twice in one week! We actually saw Hulk Hogan and his family dining next to us. So we had a blast. Highly recommend it! Pros: Great food more
