We went to Metro 9 steakhouse Saturday night for my wife's birthday. It was highly recommend by a college of mine, so we decided to check it out. We arrived there around 6 PM, without a reservation, and the restaurant was already busy. They open at 5 PM. We had a drink at the bar first. The bar staff was very friendly. I did not catch the bartenders name, she had very short blond hair... a very friendly girl, who made a great martini. We were seated in a very comfortable booth against the wall. Our server immediately greeted us, and introduced herself as Michelle. She took a few minutes to explain the new restaurant, and gave us a lot of detail about the great menu. We had a few questions, and she was able to answer them without hesitation. We opted for a bottle of wine, on her recommendation, and were very pleased with shiraz blend we agreed on. Being a steakhouse, we decided that meat was the way to go. The restaurant quickly filled up around us, as the wait staff was buzzing around. Before our steaks arrived, we were provided with steak knifes, and a unique collection of sea salts. Our water glasses, as well as wine were never empty, as our waitress was very attentive, and engaged in some great conversation with us. When dinner arrived she made sure our steaks were cooked to our liking, and they were cooked to perfection. We all agreed our favorite salt was the red Hawaiian sea salt. We would of loved to try the great desserts we saw on the menu, but our stomachs were full and satisfied with our meals. For anyone looking for a great meal, and even greater service, I recommend Metro 9. We plan to come back very soon, and look forward to trying some of the different specialty dishes!! Great work Metro 9, Framingham was in need of some fine dining!!!
