I wish I had seen these reviews before ordering. on October 16 2011 I ordered 4 items for my husband for Christmas. Plenty of time, eh! Firstly, the confirmation of order e-mail does not detail the items ordered and the confirmation of order web page I saved has an error on it and cannot be reallced. I can't remember the exact time frame but i gave them at least a month before i started chasing. As others have experienced, they do not respond to e-mails, their 1-800 number is constantly busy and when you do get through on their regular number you can be left on hold for a very long time. In the end, I was left in a state of high anxiety with less than 2 weeks to go before Christmas when two of my items had still not been received. Did I cancel and go look for something else? And of the two items I had received they arrived weeks apart. Finally, all of the items did arrive in time for Christmas but one of the items did not fit. on December 28 2011 I mailed back 5 items to 5 different retailers. All except Big Men acknowledged receipt of the returned goods. Within a few days, 3 of the retailers had refunded to my credit card. The fourth gave me a gift certificate as I wanted an exchange. As I type this, January 23 2012, I have still not heard from Big Men. They received the returned items on December 30 2011. I called. No empathy. How busy they are. Well, aren't the other retailers? Their policy states that a return will be made in 30 days and I am 7 days away from that! AND, I was told, there would be no notification that the refund had been processed. I would have to keep checking my credit card statement. And the problem with not having a detailed confirmation e-mail is that I have had to laboriously go through their website to find the items I ordered to ensure that the refund is for the correct amount. Unless you are after an exercise in frustration do not buy from this website. more

Please be careful when ordering from this company. I ordered 6 shirts, Only got 5 and 3 of them were not what I ordered. I bought these because i was going on my honeymoon and wanted some new digs. well since they didn't arrive until the day before, i was screwed. I sent back some of the shirts after the honeymoon and they have had them for over 2 months!!! STILL NO REFUND.. CUSTOMER SERVICE HANGS UP WHEN I CALL!!! THEY DO NOT RESPOND TO EMAILS!!! THEY PUT YOU ON HOLD AND NEVER COME BACK TO PHONE!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A BUNCH OF THIEVES!!!!! THIS IS BY FAR THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! more

HORRIBLE Customer Service 1/22/2010

I placed an order for a jacket that was on the website but was delivered a different jacket. Was advised after the fact that the website had last years model of jacket ordered but nowhere does the website expalin this. I ended up returning the jacket in order to receive a refund. Well the jacket was returned over 1 month ago and still no refund. Have tried calling but almost never does anyone answer the phone when it rings or it is busy. I have sent many e-mails without any response as of yet. I was also double charged for the original order and had to proove this to store as they had no record of it. Sent them copy of credit card statement to prove this and still had to wait nearly 2 weeks for them to refund the double charge. I will never ever order a single item from this store again. What a joke of a business run and the customer service was only good when I was spending money, when it is there turn to return the money no one wants to talk to you. We ordered a pair of rain pants for a fishing trip and they were too large. They were sent back and a credit did not appear on our charge card. When I called, I was told that it arrived on a specific date, but had just been laying around and hadn't been processed yet. That was in September, it is now December and they have yet to refund. They are difficult to get in touch with and will not respond to e-mails. Do not order from them!! Cons: they do not refund money for returned items and lie about it more

WORSE SERVICE EVER 5/18/2009

I placed an order for nearly 300 clams worth of shirts, shorts, and a robe with these folks and for two weeks all I got were excuses. Finally after two weeks I got TWO SHIRTS. During this time they didnt answer their phone, never replied to an email - the only way I was able to contact them was by looking up the internic domain support contact! I AM NOT THE FIRST. Look up other reviews and see - I wish I had found one before I placed an order! DO NOT TRUST THESE JERKS Pros: Absolutely none Cons: no phone, no emails, had to look up internic info to contact more
