Didn't change chain but said they did 1/9/2012

I went to have a chain replaced on a bicycle. When I went to pic it up it took over 15 minutes to get someone to say hello and I was the only customer there. They brought out my bicycle and proceeded to charge me. I mentioned that the chain had not been replaced. They said it had. I asked if they replace old rusty chains with new rusty changes. Apparently, according to them they do. They did give me new tires as asked. I paid, left and will never return. more

Awesome store 10/25/2011

I came to Greenville from up north to get some riding in before the seaon ends. I stopped at the store because it was the start point for a number of rides posted on mapmyride and bikely. Ken could not have been more helpful with tips for rides, and for bike tweaks like air and a quick shifter adjustment. He also recommended a great place for lunch. It's the kind of LBS that dedicated cyclists treasure. Thanks Ken - you rock! Keep up the good work. more

No customer service, quasi business. Arlington blvd. 9/23/2011

The Bicycle Post in Greenville is not somewhere i would recommend anyone to enter or visit. The employees are not accommodating and are never friendly. They honestly do not care about their customers or their needs. Very unfriendly staff that makes individuals feel as if they are not welcome, non accommodating staff, piss poor customer service in this quasi business practice. I have a $540.00 bike that i bought from the one on Arlington Blvd and the manager did not want to repair a mechanical issue that was faulty at the time of purchase. It was discovered by me a few months after purchase simply due to not riding my bike everyday. They wanted to charge me to work on the bike, heck i just gave them $540.00, this was an install/manufacture defect. some non-friendly elderly white lady that works in there attempted to persuade me it was normal but i totally understand that to be BS. They honestly DO NOT CARE in this place about their customer's needs....all they care about are selling and moving bikes through the store, once they sell one they no longer care anything about the individual entering the store. These guys don't care about you, all they want is a bike sell....go to Raleigh, order online, whatever just don't buy a bike from any Bicycle Post shop in Greenville, NC. This is an issue that has it's origins lodged higher than him, apparently the ownership and operators of this place are not business people. Chris more
