I have been shopping at this store for 2 years now and have not had a problem. First off, its Dura Ace, 2 words buddy. Secondly, Ultegra performs just as good as Dura Ace and is intended for racing. It is a lighter material and is going to wear out faster than Ultegra. It is made as light as possible for professional and sponsored riders who can afford to replace their components regularly. For example the Dura Ace cassette is made of aluminum and titanium, the Ultegra cassette is made of steel. Aluminum and titanium are both softer materials than steel, so they are going to wear out quicker. Bici Sport has many satisfied customers and I am sure this was a one time occurrence that you had and may have misunderstood what was going on. Maybe you should do a little more research before you talk bad about a great local shop. more

I cannot get this bike shop to be honest. When a problem is identified, they do not investigate it, they look for the problem, if they cannot identify it, they will not investigate or fix. I have also have them tell me out and out lies to cover up for reasons to not investigate problems.\r \r I expect honesty, integrity, neither will you get from this shop. Steer away and spend your money elsewhere. By the way BICI Sports, Durace Rules, Ultegra is okay. I got a new road bike here and I couldn't have been happier with the service & selection. They have a huge inventory of bikes, and after test riding several, they helped me decide on the perfect bike for me. I also got some jerseys and shorts - Bici Sport has the nicest clothing around - and I got 10% off anything I bought along with the bike!\r \r But the best part was the custom fitting! I didn't know what I was missing before - I am so much more comfortable on the bike now! Bici Sport is the best bike store in Petaluma. The owner Andrew is very serious about what he offers. Whatever a rider needs, (whether they be a beginner or advanced) Andrew and his crew can help. It's real customer service with very knowledgeable personel, and you can pick their brains for free. If you want great products and top service from extremely knowledgable people, go to Bici Sport. Recently bought a road bike here and was really impressed with the personal service. The owner really took the time to make sure I bought the perfect bike for my needs and did a professional fitting. I even got a discount on the shoes, shorts and jersey I bought at the same time. It was helpful to have the expertise of a former pro-level racer to answer all my questions. He does coaching too so I might try it. I know I'll be back, and I'll recommend this shop to all my friends. Pros: Excellent personal service more

I found this shop through a free womens cycling clinic they hosted. Got some useful pointers from the pro cyclist who led the ride, and enjoyed hanging out at the shop afterward. Really quality people here. Lots of awesome bikes and everything to go with them, and a great service dept. They did a custom fit on my bike and I've never been so comfortable riding! You've got to check out this shop. Pros: Quality products and service. Nice people. Free coffee! Cons: Parking is tight on Kentucky St. but there's a parking garage just behind the shop on Keller St. more
