Respectful 5/19/2010

It is sad I had to take my poor cat in after I found her on the porch unable to walk, but the staff was sympathetic and professional and very understanding of my emotional state.I did have to put her down but I was able to be with her at the end and it was very dignified and respectful. High recommendation. more

Bethany Animal Hospital is great! 10/20/2009

We have been going to Bethany Animal Hospital for over ten years. They have recently remodeled their facilities. The entire staff is wonderfully helpful, friendly, and supportive. They have been invaluable partners with us in our pets lives, from first-time check-ups to end of life care. We cannot speak highly enough of them! more

Bethany Animal Hospital is 7/14/2009

I came from Chicago and now reside in Dekalb,IL. I went to Bethany to see what they could do about a ear infection my cat had (strictly indoor animal). Although the staff was somewhat courteous and knowledgeable, I felt the "attitudes" they presented were cold and overly professional almost distant. This and the addition of a HIGH COST made me think this place was something smiler to a Chicago North Shore Vet then a small city vet. Also I felt they were "fishing" for other things wrong with my animal and pointed out his teeth needed to be cleaned ($900 extra) I didn't ask for this (it was Like I went to get my car repaired and they find all these 'other things' wrong), And even though I didn't want the procedure yet had to sign a waiver saying so. HUH?? What kind of nonsense was that? In short, Impersonal, Fishy and COSTLY. Bottom line is Money at this place. Nothing like my last vet who was reasonable (ironic as they were in Chic) and cost effective. They also had a payment more

The entire staff was wonderful! I had a sick 2 month old puppy and took him in on a Saturday morning to hopefully get in. I didn't have an apointment but they took me right away! They were just wonderful they took care of my puppy, gave him medicine and told me that if I would have waitied any longer it could have been much worse! I am very pleased and grateful and so is my puppy! THANKS and I look forward to bringing him back! more
