Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center

The shuttle service was most effective and the lady driving the shuttle was very nice. She made our stay more enjoyable. Unfortunately, I do not recall her name but she should be recognized for going out of her way to make transportation for us available. more

I was extremely satisfied with all aspects of my stay. The Best Western was recommended by the Johns Hopkins administrative staff, as being a good option for an overnight stay. They also recommended the Holiday Inn, which was even closer. I called them first, but received no answer after several tries. When they finally answered the phone, they put me on hold for over 10 minutes, at which point I decided that I would not stay in such a poorly managed facility, no matter what. Lucky me. I then called Best Western, where the phone was promptly answered by a professional and very helpful staffer who was able to arrange an early check in following my surgery. The shuttle was an extra bonus, not only for me, but for my friend - who took a harbor tour while I slept. All in all, a great experience. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others. more

I recently attended the Market America conference and was very impressed. We received excellent service by all hotel staff, from the front desk to the meeting rooms. I would highly recommend this hotel for either business meetings or personal stays. more

We recently just stayed one night at this hotel, and have no complaints at all. I had an appointment at Johns Hopkins, and Best Western offered the best Hopkins rate. I have to admit, after reading the reviews, I was pleasantly surprised. I did read about the renovations, so I did ask for a room that had been renovated. We had no problem finding the hotel. There were huge signs posted because of the bus terminal. They provided free transportation to the Harbor and back and also to Johns Hopkins. Parking was free, which is a big difference from hotels in the Harbor. Staff was very pleasant. The hotel was very clean. We didn't have time to try their complimentary breakfast because of my appointment, so I cannot comment on the food. I have several visits to make to Hopkins, so I know we will be a frequent visitor. more

We stayed 1 night here on a 16day tour of the capital region. This was an excellent hotel with no problems (and yes we had some in others!!) This is a going places hotel-the room was large, well serviced and excellent. more

Came for the first time to Baltimore to celebrate our 35 anniversary. Had a rate in mind and it was met. The hotel is right off the interstate but you never hear any noise. The hotel had great service, friendly staff, a free shuttle. more

We spent a night at this hotel to visit Toby's Dinner Theater and the service was wonderful. The lobby was very nice and the rooms were great. I actually felt at home with the staff. The shuttle driver that took us to the Harbor was very nice and fun to be around. We found it a joy to tip him for his service. (He never mentioned a tip to us). I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Although the bus terminal is connected to this hotel, you would not know it unless you look that way. I had 22 guest with me and everyone enjoyed this hotel. I will be returning. more

What a great hotel to stay at if you are planning a visit to the Inner Harbor in Baltimore, Md. We just got back from a 2 night stay. The hotel is about 10 minutes from the Inner Harbor, but the free shuttle that takes you back and forth is great. The price of $93.00 for a queen sized room with 2 beds can't be beat, and it includes breakfast at the price. The hotel was located right off of I-95. Our room was on the 11th floor and facing the city. What a great view of the city. The room was clean and neat, and I couldn't find anything wrong with it. We did not hear any noise from the highway. My only complaint would be the walls are a little thin and you can hear if someone is talking in the hallway. Otherwise, I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Yes it is on top of a Greyhound bus station, but this has no impact on the hotel what -so-ever. The indoor pool was nice to have as well as the fitness center. Also, you can walk into the greyhound bus terminal and there is a gift shop with plenty of snacks, etc. There is also a Sbarros Pizza, KFC, A&W rootbeer stand. The free breakfast was plentiful, including eggs, sausage, bagels, Make-Your-Own Waffle Station. It was nice to have all that available. The staff of the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. I'd stay here again just for the price, the free breakfast and the free shuttle into the Harbor. The shuttle runs from 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. If you need to take a taxi it is $14.00 from the Harbor to the hotel. We didn't need to do this as the free shuttle was always on time. If you want to save your money to do fun things and not spend it on a hotel room, this is the place to stay. more

Stayed for several nights and found rooms most clean and roomy. Staff was NEVER too busy to answer any questions and were all most friendly. Very convenient to downtown and easy access to 95. Was there for business and was close enough to sights to be visited. Would always recommend and would stay again if necessary to visit area. more

I recently stayed at this hotel with my family. We stopped for a weekend layover in Baltimore on our way up north. We were pleasantly surprised by the overall service received at this hotel and would definitely recommend it to everyone wanting value, comfort, good service and cleanliness. more
