This is a great pet store. The staff was very friendly and really knew what they were talking about. I will always shop at Best Pets

Worst

5 of the 7 fish I bought there died. They charge you $5 just to look in their store. Everything they said about any pet contradicted itsself. We have many fish, 2 boas, 2 pit bull...

NOT the Best 10/8/2010

Went into Best Pets to look at their freshwater tropical fish selection. While they do have a large selection of aquarium supplies (as well as other pet supplies), the condition of the display tanks was atrocious. There were dead fish in many of the tanks and very obvious signs of disease in others. We saw at least one large Jack Dempsey gasping for oxygen at the top of his (undersized) tank. The staff did not acknowledge that we had even walked in the store and with 3 kids in tow, it was pretty obvious that we were in there looking around. I would not purchase anything other than packaged pet supplies from this store. I definitely would avoid purchasing anything living due to the prevalance of poor care and disease that is obvious in most of this store's tanks. more

Inconvenienced workers 3/17/2010

Every worker in Best Pets from the older man with gray hair, the dark haired man with facial hair, and Damian make you feel like you are inconveniencing them. You go in and wait without being acknowledged. The customer service is below poor. One would think in this economy that having a job would most benefiicial but these guys do not subscribe to this. They are rude and make you feel that you are inconveniening them. They do not take pride in their work or their customers. As the saying goes an unhappy customer tells 100 people and a happy customer tells no one. I will not go to Best Pets until it is under new leadership/managment. Absolutely HORRIBLE. Do not recommend. more

if you like reptiles...this is your place 11/8/2005

I found best pets when looking for a place to buy rats for my boa constrictor. I was very pleased when i finaly found them. They are an exotic pet lovers dream shop. They sell just about anything from snakes, to tarantulas, to lizzards, to scorpions, and lots of fish. These guys are very nice people. i had a sick snake that i took in for advice and they helped out tremendously... Probably saved the snakes life actaully. Then ended up donating several items to me to get the snake back to health quickly. it's a pretty small shop inside, and sometimes it can take a while to be waited on, but it's definiitely worth it! more

A Great Pet Store with nice selection of animals and educated staff 9/6/2005

This petstore, although small, has a very good selection of animals. They specialize in reptiles such as snakes, lizards, and frogs but also carry other animals such as fish, rodents, scorpions, spiders, and more. I have been going here for several years now to get feeder foods for my animals. They carry crickets, live and frozen rodents, meal worms, and more. The staff here is also very good. They are very willing to answer any questions that customers may have. more
