Review content:
Went into Best Pets to look at their freshwater tropical fish selection. While they do have a large selection of aquarium supplies (as well as other pet supplies), the condition of the display tanks was atrocious. There were dead fish in many of the tanks and very obvious signs of disease in others. We saw at least one large Jack Dempsey gasping for oxygen at the top of his (undersized) tank. The staff did not acknowledge that we had even walked in the store and with 3 kids in tow, it was pretty obvious that we were in there looking around. I would not purchase anything other than packaged pet supplies from this store. I definitely would avoid purchasing anything living due to the prevalance of poor care and disease that is obvious in most of this store's tanks.
