Plumbing Inspection 8/11/2016

Every time that Best Home Services has come to my home to render service, it has been on time, very professional, very effective, and very informative. The last visit was for our plumbing inspection. It is amazing that in very little time, I was told what needed to be updated. Very informative. I have followed through with updating both toilets and will soon be getting a new hot water heater. Thank you very much Best Home Services. more

Very big on upsale and unnecessary services. Service rep not entirely professional. 8/11/2016

I called in for HVAC servicing. The rep had a nice personality and clean. He attempted upsell of $3800 of services plus 3 yr contract for other opportunities with other divisions. I contacted two other service companies - one said no additional services necessary and the other didn't even charge for visit. The 3rd company contradicted a statement by Best on inlet air intake indicating it is simply on/off switch. Turn it off and don't need to remove any inlet air. The following are two pet peeves of mine which despite the above would be a deal breaker - a. DO NOT have the manager all the service tech in front of the customer as if negotiating a sale or discount. It is cheesy and should be taken care of external to the customer not on my couch. b. The rep was caught multiple times glancing down my wife's top (by me and my wife). BTW - She was not wearing anything revealing just curvy. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE as I would NEVER call back this company while my wife is home alone to make her uncomfortable. more

An attempt to sell as much services as possible. 8/11/2016

Your technician was knowledgeable and proficient, however the whole purpose for the inspection seemed to be to sell as much services as possible. Was given 6 different options ranging from $299 to $1700+. The $299 option was for replacing an exterior outlet which took about 10 minutes tops. He did agree to $200 for that. I have never tried to negotiate for professional services before but in the case of Best that is a must. Just don't like to do business like that, but would prefer to be givem a fair price from the beginning. more

Great service and representative 8/11/2016

We were impressed with the service representative and the quality of work done on our electrical system. He was very knowledgeable and diagnosed our problems with astuteness. This is a company I feel that I can trust. more

Far too expensive 8/11/2016

Inexpensive service call but the quote to replace the toilet was utterly outrageous. I truly laughed at the service guy, gave him a check for the call, and told him to leave. more

Ruined AC and then gave a run-around 8/11/2016

Called for an ac service. Tech said that the unit was overcharged and drained the freon. Charged $317 and said that it will start working normally within 24 hrs. Never did. Called another tech - he left wioot saying ANYTHING or giving me ANYTHING. Just dissapeared. I've been calling their number at least 10 times - everytime getting the response that service manager will look into that and certainly will give me a call back. SURPRISE- they never call back. Dissapointed and disgusted. more

Prompt, courteous, and overpriced 8/11/2016

I called Best Home Services because I felt they could give me a good combination of plumbing and electrical expertise that would solve my issues. They arrived on time, were very professional and knowledgeable, and gave me a written estimate. My only issue with them was that the estimate was very high. I had to pay two estimate fees (one for plumbing and one for electrical). I then called another contractor who did the work for not quite half of what Best Home Services had quoted. more

Best Home Services responded immediately to my Electrical Problem. 8/3/2016

I called in the morning and a technician was at my house by early afternoon on the SAME DAY. The technician, Justin, was polite and knowledgeable. After checking a few things and ensuring his own safety, he found my problem and was able to fix it relatively quickly. After talking with Justin I don't think there is an electrical problem he couldn't solve. I'm fortunate that I haven't had many issues with my house since purchasing it 4 years ago. But if I have any type of household problems I know who I'm going to call, Best Home Services. more
